Subscribe to Mistah MegaManFan for new content daily! Today I’ve compiled together a series of tips I think are useful for Famicom imports that I’m including in the description.

Step 1 – organize your carts when they arrive. It’s much easier to sort everything out before you do anything else. Step 2 – apply removable labels. You can use a label maker or labeling tape, but you want English labels on the top so you can know what it is at a quick glance when you want one later. Step 3 – clean contacts with cotton swabs and rubbing alcohol. I use a generic 70/30 isopropyl alcohol, but even lower water content would be better. Either way alcohol is recommended so that you don’t leave trace materials behind that would corrode the contacts. Dip the swab in the alcohol, clean the contacts with one side, then dry with the other. Step 4 – test your games and have fun! Thanks for watching.
