Multi-platinum producer Drumma Boy to release second installment of mixtape series Welcome II My City Volume 2 - featuring Future, Gangsta Boo, 8Ball & MJG, Beanie Sigel, Young Dolph, 2Deep with production from Drumma Boy, Mars, Degree and Don Vito - just in time for the 9th Annual Southern Entertainment Awards where the 28 year old beat maker is up for "Producer of the Year"

(Los Angeles, California - March 27, 2012) On the eve of his scheduled performance at the upcoming 9th annual Southern Entertainment Awards, Grammy-nominated Memphis producer Drumma Boy unveils the highly-anticipated sequel to his 2009 mixtape: Welcome II My City, Volume 2. Over the course of 16 searing tracks, Drumma Boy flaunts his award-winning sonic and lyrical prowess with assists from a star-studded list of featured guests: Three 6 Mafia’s Juicy J and DJ Paul, Gangsta Boo, Beanie Sigel, 8Ball & MJG, Junior Reid, and more.
Welcome II My City, Volume 2 serves as a trunk-rattling ode to Memphis, where many of the sets’ featured artists proudly hail from. Reggae/ dancehall icon Junior Reid injects his inimitable island vibe on “Where We Come From” - where Drumma Boy switches lanes and steps behind the mic, allowing fellow producer Mars (Game, T.I., Chris Brown, Kanye West, Will Smith) to layer a bass-heavy track, resulting in a full-on audio assault. The DJ Squeeky-produced “My City On Lock” features lyrical beat downs from Drumma Boy, Juicy J, and precocious 7-year-old rapper Lil Peanut. On “Dat Recipe,” Drumma Boy shares the stage with the buzzworthy rapper Future.
Female M.C. and Drumma Boy protégé Allie Baby, who also garnered a nomination at this year’s awards in the category of Slept-On Artist Of The Year, is featured on the set opener “From Da City.” This year’s Southern Entertainment Awards marks the 4th consecutive year Drumma Boy has been nominated in the category of Producer Of The Year, an award he has taken home the past three previous years.  Drumma Boy’s own Drum Squad is also nominated in the categories of Record Label of the Year and Record/ Club Promoter Of The Year. Rated as one of the top producers making noise by notable publications such as Vibe and New York Times, Drumma Boy has produced songs for the likes of T.I., Young Jeezy, Gucci Mane, Waka Flocka Flame, Wiz Khalifa, and Chris Brown.
