R.A. The Rugged Man's highly-anticipated new album Legends Never Die finally hit stores this week, and to celebrate R.A. is now releasing one most talked-about tracks off the album. "Sam Peckinpah" finds R.A. linking up for with Vinnie Paz of Jedi Mind Tricks, with Sadat X on the hook. Every time these two legendary lyricists get together a classic is born, from "Uncommon Valor" to "Nosebleed" to this devastating lyrical slaughter featuring one of the founding members of Brand Nubian. Legends Never Die is the official follow-up to R.A.'s critically acclaimed album Die Rugged Man Die, and also features appearances from the likes of Hopsin, Tech N9ne, Talib Kweli, Brother Ali, Masta Ace, Sadat X, Eamon, and more.
"The Newport Authority 2 album was inspired by politics & industry bullsh*t that prevented this material from being included on my upcoming LP PA2: The Director's Cut. Shylow and I went in and created a separate album to hold people over until PA2 drops in July. Attached with Intro, interludes and fully mixed & mastered by Joe Nardone. With confidence I can say this is not a mixtape. It will also be available on vinyl LP via Fat Beats for the heads that appreciate physical product, because I still do. I've included songs I recorded with legends such as Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, Tragedy Khadafi, Lil Fame and The Artifacts. But, I've also got joints on here with some talented up and comers such as First Division, MidaZ and Big Gutta. Plus the sh*t is free - so enjoy!"-Marco Polo

For Nissim (formerly D.Black), the road away from and back to music has been long and fraught with soul seraching on a deep and spiritual level rarely associated with hip-hop culture. After early career successes in 2008 and 2009 lead to him becoming a rising star not only on the Seattle hip-hop scene but nationally as well, then named D.Black chose to give up life in the spotlight and immerse himself in the religious teachings of Orthodox Judaism, the conservatism of which would generally seem to reside at the opposite end of the spectrum from most rap music. For nearly the next three years, the choice to focus on faith and family proved spiritually invaluable for him, but the desire to express himself creatively and artistically through music still lingered. In a video interview at his home in the Seward Park neighborhood of Seattle, Nissim recalls it was in fact his faith that ultimately led him back to music, albeit with a newfound purpose to uplift and inspire positivity.
Kung Fu Vampire Joins Insane Clown Posse's Mighty Death Pop Tour
Although ICP proclames to be "The Most Hated Band In The World" we find it hard to believe. 1st off, ICP's dedicated and loyal fan base not only spans well over 20 years but they have actually gone Platinum as well as sell out almost every venue they show up to in addition to that creating an entire Sub-culture known as "Juggalos". All of this without the help of a major label. well....
ICP has decided to hit the road in support of their latest release "Mighty Death Pop" w/ none other than San Jose's own KUNG FU VAMPIRE who's celebrating the release of his latest album "Love Bites". This tour also includes AMB and the Moonshine Bandits. Be sure to check the dates below and grab a ticket to this amazing Tour, Kung Fu Vampire is here!

Audio: Atari Blitzkrieg x Digital Fiend - Neber Pills

VA-based MC Atari Blitzkrieg has teamed up with producer Digital Fiend to rhyme over vintage production ripped from audio cassette tapes. Raw and gritty, each track is unmodified to the point where you can hear the slight warping of a few songs beneath Atari's complex, ethereal lyrics.
