Maker Music presents a mini-documentary on 24 hours in the life of Cali emcee Murs, on the day before his 2012 Paid Dues festival went off in San Bernardino, CA. Murs visits Soul Assassins Radio, L.A. stations Power 106 and KDAY, rehearses with his crew Living Legends, tends to his fans and jumps onstage to kick off this year's installment of the annual hip-hop festival that continues to grow by leaps and bounds each year. Features Odd Future, DJ Quik, People Under The Stairs and more. Murs recently released Yumiko: Curse Of The Merch Girl, his album and graphic novel collaboration with Josh Blaylock, and released his Ski Beatz collaboration album Love & Rockets Vol. 1: The Transformation last year on BluRoc.

MTV’s Hip Hop POV is giving fans even more content from the world of hip hop culture and news. Airing Wednesday, April 18 at Midnight ET/PT, this week’s episode will feature in studio guest appearances by a pair of the leaders of the new school of rap including Future, who will hit the stage for a performance of his new single “Magic” and the international star on the rise, Iggy Azalea, who will sit down with our hosts to talk about her musical debut and give a special message to all of her critics. The show will continue with the second part of the exclusive interview with Lil Wayne where he talks about fully engulfing himself in the skater lifestyle and discusses why he no longer sports bling. Also, the latest episode of POV features a must see interview with DJ Khaled, as he takes our cameras inside the studio to discuss his rise to music moguldom and gives fans a taste of some of the tracks from his upcoming album Kiss the Ring.

“MTV’s Hip Hop POV” is hosted by Amanda Seales – the multidimensional artist, Bu Thiam, VP of A&R at Def Jam, NY’s Power 105.1 “The Breakfast  Club” radio personality Charlamagne Tha God, Devi Dev – a radio personality on Sirius XM’s “Sway in the Morning”  and Sowmya Krishnamurthy , a digital age hip hop journalist. Each week the series’ hosts will give viewers raw, unfiltered commentary on the news making headlines in hip-hop culture, provide their opinions on new music, grant insider access to the biggest events and engage in no-holds-barred artist interviews.  In addition, each episode of “MTV’s Hip-Hop POV” will end with an intimate performance by an artist taking the game to all new heights.
