'The Sinking' LP is the latest release from Conscious Route (CCF/SOS) who teams up with producer Sean El (United Front). The pair teamed up after meeting at a Soul Mischief gig back in 2012 and since then have strengthened their link by collaborating on tracks over the last year, most of which are included as the back-bone of this release. Eighteen tracks of deep, the long player is a brilliant collection of Boom Bap fused beats complimented with a feast of conscious flows and controversial punch-lines. It's no wonder they've got the Internet going nuts with a string of solid reviews on leading Hip-Hop blogs.
"To give a bit of background i'm an Emcee/Engineer by the name of Avant-Garde representing Delaware by way of the U.S. With plans to drop a tape in the coming summer months I hand-picked a single titled 'This One' which I feel is a good representation of the overall feel of the project."

Roach Gigz's newest track "Vertigo" may leave your head spinning. The Bay Area lyricist lets loose a dizzying verbal barrage as the iconic Golden Gate Bridge morphs and melds behind his calmly braggadocious flow. Roach recognizes the bridge's iconic status, and muses that it is representative of the Bay Area's place in hip-hop: "The Golden Gate Bridge is the most well known symbol of the Bay Area there is. So shooting my video in front of the bridge shows pride in what I represent and lets the world know that I'm not, and my region is not, going anywhere."
