D-Sisive is a disciple of hip-hop and a Bowie devotee. His eleven-year-old imagination was captured by Fresh Prince and DJ Jazzy Jeff's "Nightmare On My Street," and later, by a legendary punk spectacle as heard on Creep single "GG Allin." There's something new everyday, and so he's running, trying to keep up with himself, trying to connect with his fellow creeps. There was a time he didn't have these words; didn't know how to say them. So now he's making sure he doesn't miss even one.

Videos: Hot 97 Help Those Affected By Hurricane Sandy

The aftermath of Hurricane Sandy left much of the New York and New Jersey without power, food, and in many cases, shelter. This has been the most devastating natural disaster to effect the area in the history of New York City and HOT 97 and Hip Hop Has Heart moilized immediately after the storm. Hot 97 reached out to our hip hop counterparts and secured clothing and radios from RocaWear, Trukfit, Swizz Beatz Reebok, Young and Reckless and HD Radio. They then made their way out to Coney Island, Rockaway, Manhattan, The Bronx and Hoboken to make sure the hardest hit places got the help they needed. The footage gives a real account of what residents in these places are going through. Willy Dope of Par-City, DJ Juanyto, and more were part of the team helping out.

Video: MHz Legacy - "Mechanical Me" Ft. Jason Rose

Last week, MHz Legacy released their long-awaited album, MHz Legacy, via Man Bites Dog Records. Already the accolades have been rolling in, including a XL-rated review from XXL Magazine, and today, following the release of last week's Blu-featuring "Yellow + Blue," MHz Legacy is excited to release a new video, this one for the album's latest single, "Mechanical Me." The song is produced by Jason Rose, who also provides the track's sung chorus, and, as the album closer on MHz Legacy, is one of the most adventurous, ambitious tracks the Columbus crew has released to-date, an up-tempo affair with clear, well-executed pop sensibilities.
The video, directed by R.M.L., and premiered today by PrefixMag, is equally ambitious. Shot in a tormented medical lab, the clip features Jason Rose as a mad scientist, working on his captured victims -- Copywrite, chips implanted on the operating table; Tage Future caged awaiting his own transformation -- alongside his own Frankenstein creation and tight-clothed nurse.
