MP3/Video: Andre Nickatina - "Jellybean Colored Suits (Return Of The Mack)" + Where's My Money? Tour Video
Courtesy Audible Treats.
Andre Nickatina is currently in the middle of his 44-city nationwide Where's My Money? Tour, and having already made his way up the East Coast and now bulldozing through the Mid-West, Nickatina has been capturing footage of the dates so far. If you've never been to a Nickatina show, the short promo video is a fun sneak-peak into just how raucous the shows can be, with shots of Andre performing in front of packed houses night-after-night.
Accompanying the video, Nickatina is excited to release the latest single from his recent Where's My Money? mixtape, which is currently available for free download through his website. As with a number of the cuts from the mixtape, this latest single, the short-but-sweet "Jellybean Colored Suits (Return Of The Mack)," features Nickatina rapping over classic loops (in this case "Return Of The Mack") with his much-adored relaxed flow. "I'm in the back of the car, like a Mafia don/ Blowing weed, wearing Louis Vuitton," raps Nickatina, before he winds down his verse with the equally entertaining, "I wear rings, like a young Slick Rick/ And if I pawned them, I could buy a brick."
Baltimore Emcee "Smash" releases his new video for the single "Thank God" which is one of the tracks from his upcoming Mix-Tape release "King Jaffe" which will feature 15 original tracks from "Smash" and will be released on May 8th 2012. Smash is no new comer to the DMV music circuit he has been at it for years with a large amount of success under his belt. You may know "Smash" from his hit club single "Bit To Much" better know as "On my Best Bullshit" which tore apart the clubs in the DMV. Smash was also one of the featured artist on the DMV anthem from DJ Gemini "D.M.V. Dream Team". Smash has been working on his new album called "GO T-MAC" which is slated to drop October of this year on his label Street Congress.
Just a quick note to let you know that I released a new song on The FuMP today. It’s called “Devo, Are You Shoebox?” and is a parody of “Kyle, Are You Ian?” by Scooter Picnic, which is also on The FuMP. I have the honor of having the first FuMP song that parodies another FuMP song while the original song is still on the home page!
Shoebox of Worm Quartet and I used to joke about how similar our lives are. Now we have immortalized most of those jokes in this stupid song. You can get it along with the original Scooter Picnic song at http://www.thefump.com.
Also, if you’re going to RavenCon this weekend please note that I will only be there on Saturday. I have a couple panels throughout the day and then my concert is at 4:00. I’ll be heading back to New Jersey shortly after my concert.
The third single off of Hasan Salaam Music Is My Weapon project. “Miss America” addresses the harsh realities of the past and the present actions and policies of the United States. The video depicts how apathy and lack of action by the masses allows these modern day injustices to exist. It is our duty to not stand by and remain silent. Change begins with us.
