After generating significant attention with his "A Vintage State of Mind" Mixtape, Fokis steps behind the scenes to release Stryfe, a Local MU-12 Union member and artist on his Loyalty Digital Corp. Roster...

With the upcoming LP (“The Vintage Album”) slated to be released this Spring, overseeing Sadat X’s upcoming project and with a burgeoning roster for his own fledgling Loyalty Digital Corp. imprint, Fokis is primed for a breakout year in 2012, as he states “I am very excited to have Stryfe be a part of the Loyalty Digital Corp Roster, I think he is a dope artist with a lot of character and skill.  I believe in his talent and feel he is going to be a really big artist.”

Upon completing his forthcoming LP, "The Last Resort", Stryfe teamed up with fellow Detroit native CYDI's BreadWinner to release an EP, “The Opening Act,” which will serve as the prelude to his debut LP and will be released on 4-17-2012; here is the second leak from the project “Drunk” produced by illingsworth.

Press Release: Kid Capri Teams Up With NC's Presidents 919

Hip-Hop double act, twin brothers, Presidents 919 hailing from North Carolina have teamed up with the iconic DJ Kid Capri for their mixtape, BEST DUO BEST FLOW. Eager to make an impression on Hip-Hop fans, Dic Nixon and Willie J Clinton sought some of the most influential and poignant tracks from the Hip-Hop timeline to create this project.

"We wanted the beats we selected for this project to take the listener back to when the original records were made and give people that feeling of nostalgia," explains Willie J Clinton.

To relay that feeling of nostalgia the host of a project which boasts hits from the likes of Gangstarr, Pete Rock and CL Smooth, Outkast, M.O.P and many more had to be as influential as the music on the tape. "It seemed the obvious choice for Kid Capri to host BEST DUO BEST FLOW," shares Dic Nixon. "Kid has been front and center in Hip-Hop music since the 90's and remains extremely visible and to get him to be a part of this project gave the tape that authentic Hip-Hop co-sign."

The pressure to deliver on a project of this magnitude is undeniable but confident in what they were doing, Presidents 919 were just keen for their lyrics to do the talking. "It is like a case of classic fishing," jokes Dic Nixon. "The song recognition would would bait the listeners while our lyrics would reel them in." But pressure is not something these two brothers-in-rhyme shy away from.

Their mantra of making 'believers out of doubters, fans out of foes and supporters out of opponents' is what will give this act the determination to be recognized worldwide as the best duo with the best flow.
