Sadistik & Kristoff Krane: Prey for Paralysis

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

10/25/11

Crushkill Recordings is proud to present to present the music video for Sadistik (Seattle, WA) & Kristoff Krane's (St. Paul, MN, member of Rhymesayers Entertainment's Face Candy) "Higher Brain," the lead single off of their Prey for Paralysis album due out 11.22.11 on Crushkill Recordings.  We are offering the song as a free download, and also have pre-orders available.

Bio/description:

In April of 2011 Sadistik & Kristoff Krane began a three month tour that spanned nine countries. Quickly realizing their artistic chemistry, the two decided that they should create a album together. While en route to Amsterdam, Kristoff exposed Sadistik to the production work of live instrumentalist Graham O'Brien. He was immediately impressed by Graham's unique style and the two agreed that it was the perfect direction to take their project. After receiving Graham's stamp of approval, Sadistik and Kristoff Krane began the writing process while in a tour van in May of 2011. By the end of June they had written the entire album. They recorded the vocals over the course of three days at Sadistik's home in Seattle, WA. And so now we present to you, Prey For Paralysis.

VIDEO PREMIER: CLINTON SPARKS AND UGHMERICA DEBUTS THEIR NEW SINGLE 'NO SWAG'
Comprised of Clinton Sparks, Jacob Kasher and Phil Shaouy; UGHmerica is Unleashing on a New #Noswag Generation

Los Angeles, CA, October 18, 2011 – Music fans of artist ranging from Weezer to Wu Tang now have a new band to add to their library of Awesomeness. Clinton Sparks, Jacob Kasher and Phil Shaouy have formed UGHmerica, who's sound is a hybrid of punk rock, hip-hop & pop music. The Trio & their NoSwag movement are premiering their debut single & video today.

Comprised of three music notables who have already written and produced multi platinum records for other artist like Kesha, Akon & Lady Gaga to Pitbull, Lil'Wayne & Ludacris, are now set to do the same for themselves w/ the creation of UGHmerica. UGHmerica is Clinton Sparks (writer, producer, vocals), Jacob Kasher (writer, MC) & Phil Shaouy (writer, producer, vocals).

UGHmerica is an idea that represents the people, those unafraid to be themselves and walk their own path. Whether it be fashion, attitude or in this case musically, Sparks, Kasher and Shaouy who all share the same passion for both Hip Hop & Rock, are making the music that speaks to those who subscribe to their same theory of life.

They chose the first single, "No Swag," because it defines who the band is and what it stands for. UGHmerica embraces the fact that they may not be the coolest, best looking or richest kids in school but are ok with not fitting in to what society deems as "cool." They have created a No Swag movement to promote individuality and remind people not to be so caught up in what other people think of them.

Fans can expect a solid introduction to the new group with the release of the "No Swag" music video. The video is within a six-minute short movie that establishes the personalities and roles of each member of UGHmerica. It is influenced by some of the most iconic movies from the 80's such as Weird Science and Back to the Future. It provides a humorous parody of the cool vs. not cool with a modern day spin. The moral of the video for UGHmerica is to promote being comfortable in your own skin and not caring about conforming to what others deem cool.

You can get familiar with UGHmerica and its members at www.theughmerica.com and fans can also join the No Swag Army on twitter at #noswagarmy.

Over a dozen talented MC's, genre blending beats and an overall refreshing sound that will cause listeners to reminisce about the good old days and look forward to what's next in hip-hop. This is the first single from the album featuring East Coast allstars Nems, I Am Many, CF, Swave Sevah.

Check out the new single below taken from the album "Surpassing All Others," entitled "Free Form" featuring Nems, I Am Many, CF & Swave Sevah, produced by Hi-Fi Netwerk.

Creative Juices Music steps out of its typical sound to introduce a wide array of style. From the East you have spitters like Killah Priest, Jise (Arsonists), Quite Nyce, Swave Sevah, IDE, Alucard, Nems, The Day Laborers, Has-Lo, CF and Respect the God. The left coast is repped by ceremonial masters like Othello, Ammbush and Tron 7 while Jermiside holds it down for the south and mid-west!

Here is an album that brings Destruments back to its roots which is hip-hop and reminds people once again why a music once considered a fad has proven time and time again to set standards and trends in music and pop culture but also that Destruments is as versatile as any group out today and has surpassed any and all expectations!
