So after many years of being under the study of Beat-Making John Robinson has finally decided to let the rest of the world hear what he creates outside of writing lyrics and working with various other producers around the world. "My beats are very personal to me, they are like therapy for whenever I am not writing. It is another outlet to express myself creatively." says J.R. when asked why he hasn't put his beats out there sooner.

Welcome to the first installment of Brilliant Soundscapes, enjoy and spread the vibes.

3rd Place : Kafutchino & Sicktunes (Listen) (Listen B)

Thanks to everyone who submitted and took the time to comment and vote for their favorite entries. There were some real stand out tracks, and allot of really great efforts all around. We thought that over all Fef had the cleanest sound, and his remix fit the track well. The drums hit hard, it was carried by a dope bassline, and a hypnotic melody. Everyone agreed that Rakmas' remix was the runner up. It changed ths sound of the track, hit hard, had some nice played chops, filtered samples, and dope bassline. Third place was a tie between Kafutchino and Sicktunes. Kafutchino had a dope remix. Drums sounded like sp 1200, hit real hard, and the low fi sample fit the hard hitting drums well. Only thing was, by the second verse the vocals start to drift, but a nice effort. Sicktunes the 3rd place runner up had another dope remix, a sound that fit the track with a eerie change up for Killah Priests part.

Special thanks to Lee, Chris and Soundcloud, Destruments, IDE & Alucard, Creative Juices Music and all the producers.
