Jack Davey has been diligently exploring the solo spectrum since the release of Side A, the first half of her L0-F! EP, which she unveiled last Tuesday. A distinct departure from the electro-soul sounds she was creating as front woman of J*DaVeY, L0-F! Side A is Davey’s chance to dive deep into her own thoughts as she experiments with the raw sounds playing in her head. Fresh on the heels of that release, Jack Davey is releasing the latest video off of L0-F! for the song, "Eye Can See."

#TheFocusTape acts as a follow-up to Dee's previous DJBooth-hosted mixtape, I Hope They Hear Me Vol. 2, and features everybody from Juvenile to MURS, and Mos Def to Killer Mike. Successfully straddling the line between conscious and dirty south hip-hop, Dee draws from both his past as an educator, a middle-school math teacher to be exact, and as a native of New Orlean's Ninth Ward to create his distinct sound.

Heaven’s Computer has landed. 7evenThirty’s concept opus has been having a steady effect on Earth’s atmosphere and its inhabitants are naturally being drawn to the other-worldly MC. At times and among some earthlings however, the presence of 7even draws misguided admiration or envious criticism. The electronic bounce of “GetUp!!!” aims to kill that noise.

Madchild from hip-hop group Swollen Members continues to ride a wave of success with his debut solo album "Dope Sick", as the album debuted on the Canadian Billboard Charts at #3 and he just completed a sold-out Canadian tour with Kansas City rap mogul Tech N9ne. Madchild has announced the dates for his upcoming 'Dope Sick' headlining tour alongside Shadyville DJ Dow Jones and Vancouver hip-hop act Ghost.

"The tour I just wrapped up with Tech N9ne was one of the best tours I've ever done. Every show was sold out and fan reaction to my new solo album from the fans was insane," said Madchild. "We're excited to get back out on the road on this headlining tour and perform a whole new set including tracks from 'Dope Sick' that I've never performed live before."

In related news, Swollen Members' new studio album “Dagger Mouth” continues to build momentum a year after the album's release. Madchild, Prevail and Rob The Viking of Vancouver’s Swollen Members came out victorious at this year's Western Canadian Music Awards (WCMA) in the "Rap/Hip-Hop Recording of the Year" category. The win comes hot on the heels of the group being nominated for a Juno Award, which are the Canadian equivalent of a Grammy award, earlier this year. "Dagger Mouth" is available online at http://bit.ly/f0peac .

"We are ecstatic to have won the Western Canadian Music Award for 'Dagger Mouth' as Best Rap Recording. Winning this award and being nominated for a Juno this year reaffirms what we had believed all along, that we created a classic record," added Prevail from Swollen Members. "The whole Swollen Members crew has been in work mode putting the finishing touches on our new record. Shout out to all our people, thank you for blessing us with your ongoing support."

Swollen Members are currently writing and recording their new studio album "Beautiful Death Machine" for release in early 2013.
