PDP (Phil Da Phuture) releases his new music video for "Get Bank" helmed by acclaimed music video director Jerome D (Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q). "Get Bank" can found on PDP's new mixtape Louder Than You available on Halloween.
Amon Tobin presents the next brutalist masterpiece wired up under his Two Fingers guise, "Vengeance Rhythm." A low-slung exercise in violence, brooding power and pure production smarts, in the words of a recent Resident Advisor feature, it's "a little like dubstep built on an interplanetary scale." The tune has been brought to life (and death) in a truly jaw-dropping video from stop-frame animator and director Chris Ullens. Ullens transforms a pile of toys, a love of super slo-mo explosions and a huge pile of mince into the funniest, most eye-popping and shocking exercise in animated ultra-violence since Walt Disney discovered Mickey and Donald were engaged in Un-American Activities together.

Jay Z's Life + Times Premieres French Horn Rebellion vs. Database "Poster Girl". EP out 11/6
Courtesy Girlie Action.
The French Horn Rebellion Wisconsin brothers David and Robert are gearing up for a return and will play new tracks. Their debut album had killer tracks like "Up All Night", "This Moment" and their track with Database "Beaches and Friends" is still a frequent party starter. "Orchestra Geeks Gone Wild" is band's mantra and "Next Jack Swing" ((New Jack Swing, but with heavy beats and funkier dance lines) describes genre of their second album that they're about to finish in their You Too Can Woo-studio.
Written, produced and mixed by brothers Robert and David Perlick-Molinari, The Infinite Music… is a debut album that warps the fabric of dance, electro, rock and funk and was possibly last year’s most ambitious, multi-faceted and engaging debut album. Crucially, the album also follows an intergalactic narrative that tracks the physical and emotional journey of an unknown French horn player, with a story that loops into itself - being infinite. “The album is basically the result of countless hours in the pit orchestra of operas, and thinking how fun it would be to score something like that, only with hot beats," says Robert.
The band have also remixed the likes of Sleigh Bells, MEN, Two Door Cinema Club, OMD and Alex Winston.

Mad Dukez and Fresh Kils: This Halloween... We're MONSTERS
Mad Dukez and Fresh Kils met each other at an Atherton concert. They started work on an album together, called GETTING GATBSY'D. It's bringing back the Roaring Twenties and is conceptually based on the novel. But they keep making new and better songs for it, so it's not coming out until next year. Rather than wait, they're getting their trick or treat on and dropping five tunes before heading out on tour with Blueprint. It's only five bucks, and if your pre-order it now, you get an instant download of the lead single, so go get it.

The human race is over exposed to images of violence, sex, and materialism more than ever before; a saying that has never found its way to cliché. It's a vivid illustration of the human mind, intelligent, yet ignorant. An inherent contradiction at the root of whom we all are, stemming from pains of growing up and facing our fears or possibly much deeper. The black void each of us trying to evade, and there doesn't seem to be any clear escape, just a lot of ways to numb the pain. Essentially everyone has one; it's the part of us we often try to hide. We've all faced a time where we are attracted to the thing that could destroy us. We're only human and everyone makes mistakes. In the end, if we are willing, the only thing standing in the way of reaching our dreams is thin air.
Superheroes dominate pop culture. From blockbuster summer movies to Halloween costume choices – kids and adults want to identify themselves with humans who exhibit supernatural abilities sacrificially used for the benefit of others. With his third studio album, Florida rapper/producer Brinson aims to proclaim that there are No Other Heroes. The only heroes the world will see is us as Jesus' representatives.
He emphasizes this idea through an album filled with a variety of hip hop, street anthem, and dance hits. No Other Heroes’ first single, “3D Standout,” features Stellar-nominated singer Jai (Trip Lee’s “Hero”) over a synth-driven beat. It forms the background for Brinson’s raps about his desire to live a fully rendered life visualized by God’s redemptive love for others.
The party continues with the energetically joyous “Hit the Floor” (just wait until you see the song’s video treatment) and “Not Too Far” – an 80’s pop-inspired offering featuring vocals from Rossi and NBC’s “The Voice” contestant Niki Dawson.
“Bodyguard” also resonates the album’s hero theme when Brinson and friends celebrate the safety they find in Christ. And later, storytelling dominates tracks like “Gold” and “Shoulda Told ‘Em.”
The album ends with a radio-ready mash-up of rap and worship called “I Am Yours” that is sure to be a Sunday-morning and Christian radio favorite. Finally, No Other Heroes includes the bonus track “Tebowin” - a hip hop tribute to NFL quarterback (and vocal Christ-follower) Tim Tebow that was featured on ESPN.com.
