The Best Buy pre-order for Halo 4. Last Halo game in the series Best Buy gave away a bunch of schwag if you pre-ordered and stood in line - this time not so much. Still at least I get the Reward Zone points.

@AdamsWorldBlog Weekly 11/5 - Bloggin in a Hurricane

Welcome to the new week everyone. Here's hoping this week is a little easier on the East Coast than the pervious one. Hurricane Sandy knocked out my power for three full days, and some folks in my area have been in the dark for a full week! The damage done was jaw dropping (I posted some pictures, and thoughts, here), and I was scampering around various towns in order to get work done. As you can tell by this week's update, I succeeded (yes, you totally want me on your zombie apocalypse blogging team). With The Voice's live shows starting tonight you definitely want to check out my predictions for what's going to happen. I've accurately predicted the winner each of the past two seasons! In addition to that feature I have an all new Pop Shots, an in-depth interview with DJ Vadim, a photo gallery from Lee's show in NYC, and a great Vid Pick from Vinnie Scullo.

If you dig any of these features please feel free to forward this email to a friend. I'd really appreciate it. Thanks, and enjoy!

Pop Shots - Everyone Gets a Raise

Welcome to your weekly dose of pop world musings. Covering all things pop culture, this week Pop Shots is hitting you with thoughts on everything from Taylor Swift raising the bar for album sales, to some very famous voices raising funds for hurricane victims, to a Spice Girl raising a court ordered stop sign to a paparazzi, and since itís Pop Shots you know everything is seasoned with a little bit of attitude.

Handicapping Season Three of The Voice

For each of the first two seasons I have accurately predicted the winner of The Voice after the Battle Round. For season three they changed the rules a bit, so I decided to wait until after the new Knockout Round to put together my thoughts on this seasonís contestants. Another rule change, the fact that each team doesnít have to be represented in the final four, throws a pretty big wrench into the prediction process, as well, but Iím still going to go through the contestants team by team before giving my final analysis of who I feel will come out on top. Here we go!

Inside The Mind of DJ Vadim

According to DJ Vadim, ďThe way to keep going as a musician is to always try new things, try new forms of expression. You canít keep making the same pasta dish night after night. If you do youíll get bored.Ē Judging by his discography, including his most recently release, Donít Be Scared, Vadim is in no danger of getting bored.

This week I caught up with the producer extraordinaire to talk about all things music. Vadim also discussed politics, growing out of love with a lot of hip-hop, and how an unfortunate Google autofill associated with his name is causing him a massive headache while attempting to get a Visa.

Audio: James John & Landon Wordswell - "Move On (Antonio)"

Landon Wordswell and James John team up once again for a duo effort piecing together a new EP. This song highlights a storyline the two artists mesh together to explain the beginning and end of troubled teen losing himself in his community. Product of environment? Classic case of Nature vs Nurture. Landon & James plan on releasing "Move On (Antonio)" as their first single for their upcoming EP.

ďIím living in a world with no consequencesĒ, Sacramento emcee/producer dahLak describes the cultural landscape heís found himself in. In rap, you can have far more drinks than hangovers. You can f*ck with no strings attached and spend with no worries. No health problems will ensue, the money grows on trees. Fantasy is fun! Right?

The problem is itís not easy to leave; as dahLak articulates with his pre-album mixtape Of No Consequence. Itís too fun, it sounds so good. You can party to it, itís sexy and seductive and it confirms what we all want to believe. And for those good times, those great moments, those high-points, it has its purpose. It obviously canít last, but while itís here, donít think to hard about it. After all, it is Of No Consequence.
