Today, Jarren Benton is releasing his official debut album, My Grandmas Basement. As the newest member of Funk Volume, the independent powerhouse label also home to back-to-back XXL Freshmen Dizzy Wright and Hopsin, along with SwizZz and DJ Hoppa, Benton has built a serious bit of buzz for the new album - the two lead singles from My Grandmas Basement have combined for over 475,000 YouTube views; pre-orders for the album are in the thousands. Now, Benton is celebrating the album release with a video for new single "Go Off," a track that fittingly features Benton's Funk Volume label mates Hopsin and SwizZz.
Los Angeles music producer Duke Westlake is prepared to release his MMG instrumental series project "Re.Turn" July 30th. The album is a three part instrumental journey through Hip-hop, space, and electronic production. The first track we invite listeners to start with is "Everyone Changes".

“My thoughts behind the title are; I'm big on living in the moment. The past is gone and the future never exists. So all that's real is that exact moment in the present. #InstantGratification isn't so much in wanting what we want in that moment; it's more doing what we feel we should to make us happy in each moment we get” states Bobby Capri.

After years grinding as a DJ in New York City, Queens native Nire is showcasing her production skills by unveiling the first taste off her upcoming debut album. "Call Back" is the soundtrack to a young drug dealer's sexy Saturday night in the year 2030. The smooth hustler's objective is to fly his supernova shorty--a Forest Hills fox named Erin--home before dawn breaks and her parents awaken. Ignored custies ring homie continuously as thunder breaks the starry sky and the air begins to gush with raindrops. As they soar from the keg & kush-filled Bedstuy house party over the damp B.Q.E., the ghost of B.I.G. follows the couple toward a cosmic Queens BLVD.
