On the heels of both their extolled remix for Lana Del Rey's "Born To Die" and pastiched visual presentation of "Mr. Rogers" Neighborhood, emcee/producer duo Kyle Rapps & Diwon continue their repertoire of dementing TV show samples into a gritty Boom-Trap aesthetic, with their Breaking Bad inspired video of the same title. Donning the show's trademark Hazmat suit and safety goggles, Rapps takes on the role of a swagged out Walter White. "Breaking Bad" is just one of the many TV themed sample flips that you'll find on their forthcoming, duly titled mixtape, Syndication. Set to be released on October 17th, Syndication falls on the day that the duo is performing as part of a Scion sponsored CMJ showcase at The Paperbox (Brooklyn, NYC).

DC/DMV recording artist Dutch Capital releases his latest solo project on Live Mixtapes. With features limited to mostly DMV artists & Chicago phenom Tree, Dutch proves that he can carry a whole project himself, with a strong and varied tracklist. He has an unique style, often reflective and aggressive at the same time. If your not up on Dutch, checkout this project, and see why many in the DMV music scene have labeled him the next DMV artist to blow.
