"I was making huge changes in my life when I recorded this mixtape" explains Loose Logic of the intense theme of release. "So there's a lot of life examination on this one."   Born and raised in LA, Loose Logic credits everyone from Slug and Sage Francis to Tech N9ne and Bone Thugs and Harmony as his influences. He dropped his debut LP, Logistics, featuring Jay Rock, G-Funk affiliate RBX, and gangsta rapper Ms. Toi last year. In 2010 he released Loosid Dreams vol 1, and in 2007, the Before the Storm EP. Loose Logic's skills haven't gone unnoticed: He won “Best Hip-Hop Artist of The Year” at the 2007 All Access Magazine Music Awards as well as “Best Urban (Rap) Artist” at the 2007 Orange County Music Awards. In addition, he has been featured in the Orange County Register, OC Weekly. More recently, he's been featured in the Huntington Beach Gazette, Music Connection,,, URB, among others.

Chuuwee’s Crown Me King will serve as the prelude to his long-awaited official solo-debut, Wild Style, which will be released on 5-29-2012 via Amalgam Digital. Whereas Chuuwee’s previous efforts were hybrid sub-genres he created such as “neo-boombap” (neo-soul meets boom-bap) or “hooliganarism” which Chuuwee describes as Treach of Naughty By Nature meets Wakka Flakka Flame, Wild Style can be summarized as pure 90s Hip Hop, where he is taking the classic elements of the golden era with the look, sound and the feel and then applying them to the present day.

The music continues to flow from the Brooklyn/Baltimore duo known as Constant Deviants. M.I. and DJ Cutt have been busy working on their forthcoming LP, Diamond, and although that project won't surface until late spring, the group's rapper, M.I., fresh off releasing the first single off his solo EP, "Skyscraper," is dropping the lead single and title track from the project, titled "Allnighter." The Allnighter EP will be produced entirely by Australian producer Debonair P, and will be available on 12" vinyl in the coming weeks.

Upon the release of "Skyscraper," M.I. praised Debonair P for having a "lock on the '90s sound," and true to his word, "Allnighter" keeps that distinctive '90's feel, with a straight-forward beat, accented well by well placed scratches and vocal chops. "When I heard the track it gave me the feeling of being up all night and seeing what goes on in our environment," explains M.I., who delivers over the instrumental with his smooth baritone, accented by lyrics that grab the listener with each subsequent listen. "It's like 6 in the morn'/ Man, he's out on the block getting money like he did it before," raps M.I. "Come home and count it up on the living room floor/ Getting drunk, trying to forget everything that he saw."
