Today, SwizZz is releasing his new video, for the single "Zoom In." The song, which SwizZz also produced, finds SwizZz showing off technical prowess, while also offering listeners a personal touch - a personal touch that the Funk Volume fans actually inspired. "I was inspired by the 'Still Movin' campaign that Funk Volume launched a few months back, by the stories of struggle and hardship that our fans shared," says SwizZz. "I'm talking about some of my own obstacles in life that I had to hurdle - friendship and loyalty, and family pressure to pursue a career path that I didn't want for myself."

The album and documentary are Dice's own moving interpretations of Dr. Michelle Alexander's New York Times
bestselling book, "The New Jim Crow", which theorizes that the negative stigma attached to ex-offenders can be compared to Blacks' victimization and struggle for equality during the Jim Crow Era. "Jimmy's Back" album is set for official release on August 19.

Chi City releases yet another classic hip hop record titled "Tell Me Something" which is morally a description of how people rather tell you what you cant do verses what you can do. The record starts off with a very 80's era revised sample that sets the mood for what you are about to hear. Chi then delivers a great performance that not only captures the essence of story telling but he also brings something a little bit more creative to the table as he sheds light on his life being not so different from everyone else.

Booming drum loops, melodic samples and creative emceeing. It's a winning formula that producer (and Dragon Fli Empire emcee) Teekay uses to perfection on "psYYChology". It's a brand new pay-what-you-want compilation featuring emcees from his hometown of Calgary (aka "YYC") rhyming over his beats.
