After releasing two stellar projects off the Raw Koncept imprint, "You Need This Music" and "Rawth EP", Nottz is back in the lab hard at work, this time cooking up new material with his group D.M.P. (Durte Muzik Prahdukshun).  The group is assembled of Virginia-based emcees Bigshot Manceeni, Cutlass Reid, Khizman, Starboy, Ivory Keyes, Boogie and Nottz himself.

Although currently producing for some of your favorite artists, Nottz is continuing to work hard with his group, D.M.P. The Virginia based group releases another song entitled, "We Ain't Playin'", which is produced by Nottz. D.M.P. is putting the finishing touches on their upcoming project, in the meantime, expect them to be releasing more music and visuals in the near future!!!!

Now that I finally have a bit of time before the next show, I was excited to sit down and update you guys on the events of the Race Wars Tour, but I was saddened by the death of one of societies great visionaries, Steve Jobs.

"By building one of the planet's most successful companies from his garage, he exemplified the spirit of American ingenuity. By making computers personal and putting the internet in our pockets, he made the information revolution not only accessible, but intuitive and fun. And by turning his talents to storytelling, he has brought joy to millions of children and grownups alike. Steve was fond of saying that he lived every day like it was his last. Because he did, he transformed our lives, redefined entire industries, and achieved one of the rarest feats in human history: he changed the way each of us sees the world."

-Barack Obama

DO SOMETHING.

every day, cancer takes a life, be it one as well-known and loved/hated/feared as Steve Jobs, or someone close to you and yours. We can help. Donate money or time to a cause or organization like the American Cancer Society and lets kick this.

FACTS.

Half of all men and one-third of all women in the US will develop cancer during their lifetimes.

Today, millions of people are living with cancer or have had cancer. The risk of developing most types of cancer can be reduced by changes in a person's lifestyle, for example, by quitting smoking, limiting time in the sun, being physically active, and eating a better diet. The sooner a cancer is found and treated, the better the chances are for living for many years... so be careful out there!

ALSO..

The tour rages on, we're in Kansas today, then we do our southern swing through MO, AR, AL, LA, then hit Florida for a return to my second (or third or 4th, depending on the day) home, Orlando. Next update will be much more detailed for sure. these are some things we've learned in 25 + days on the road:

-I'm unstoppable at Street Fighter 2, except when MC Lars picks Blanka.

- Adam WarRock is a SERIOUS performer. take notes guys.

- "AVALANCHE" has gone over very well in every city

- K-Murdock says "to piggyback what Ran said.." A LOT.

- mc chris kinda kills it on "Hijack." I know every word now.

- highlight shows have been Louisville, Minneapolis, Denver, Seattle, Portland, Austin... well, a lot of them.

- no more McDonalds... like, ever.

- Lars is like the most positive person you could ever know...for real.

Stay updated on my TWITTER and FACEBOOK feeds.
