The lemonade keeps pouring from the Seattle-based duo, Fly Moon Royalty. Last week, singer AdraBoo and producer Action Jackson released the video for "Lemonade," one of the singles off their recently released, self-titled album. The video premiered with OkayPlayer and has since been featured as Afro Punk's Video of the Week, and today, the duo is unveiling Action Jackson's official remix to the song, "Lemonade (Mike's Hard Remix)."
Action Jackson, whose real name is Mike (hence the "Mike's Hard Remix" title), took the vocals from the original song, with the goal of creating a track that is starkly contrasted against the original, while still keeping with the same themes and ideas of the initial track. "The original 'Lemonade' is a fun, light-hearted song. It has an old-timey, Doo-wop sort of feel," explains Action Jackson. "The hip-hop, R&B flavor with synth textures doesn't exist on the original. I wanted to make it a little grimier. Plain and simple."

Moka Only is not only one of Canada's most celebrated hip-hop exports, he's also one of hip-hop's most eccentric personalities. In this new clip, the Vancouver-based MC speaks on his upcoming collaboration with legendary producer Ayatollah while doing the dishes, applying lotion, spraying himself with Febreze, writing a rhyme on toilet paper...needless to say, this is not your typical rap interview.
