Smoke DZA "Rolling Stoned" Available on CD & Digital Aug 30th
Smoke DZA kicks it into overdrive and proves once again that he can't be grounded with the release of his forthcoming album, "Rolling Stoned." Since the success of 2010's awe-inspiring mixtape, "George Kush Da Button: The Deluxe Edition," Smoke has moved his brand across the country, rolling through city-after-city and joint-after-joint. In between tours with Wiz Khalifa and performances with J. Cole, DZA made his presence felt in 37 cities on the Smoker's Club Tour alongside Curren$y, Nipsey Hussle, Dom Kennedy and Mac Miller, in addition to the nationwide Return Of 4Eva tour with Big K.R.I.T. and Freddie Gibbs. Smoke continued to spark the interest of listeners on collaborations with Kendrick Lamar, Mac Miller, Freddie Gibbs, Devin The Dude, Big K.R.I.T., Kidz In The Hall, Domo Genesis (Odd Future) and many more.
For his latest offering, "Rolling Stoned," Smoke DZA returns with a potent dose of tracks sure to leave listeners feeling as uplifted as his own state of mind. "Rolling Stoned" finds Smoke at his most elevated as he promises to deliver a plethora of buzzworthy collaborations. "I'm excited to work with Smoke on this project" says A&R Ruddy Rock. "I've known him for years and watched him and his team continuously grind to make him the artist he is today."
The album features guest appearances by Bun B, Curren$y, Big K.R.I.T., Kendrick Lamar, Dom Kennedy, Trademark Da Skydiver, ScHoolboy Q, ASAP Rocky, Den10 & Big Sant.
The first single from "Rolling Stoned" is the viral-sensation, "On The Corner" featuring Bun B and Big K.R.I.T. Over a smooth instrumental produced by Big K.R.I.T., DZA trades verses with Bun B as they tell a tale of life on the street. The track is tied together perfectly by K.R.I.T.'s unmistakable southern drawl on the hook.
"Rolling Stoned" hits stores everywhere August 30th via iHipHop Distribution.

It's not everyday you come across raw talent, but here is an artist that really does have that original unique vibe that all of our favourite Hip-Hop stars have become famous for. Nick Javas is that man, he is that artist, that man who can put Hip-Hop back in check. In an era of blinged-out diluted gangsta rap, Nick Javas really is a breath of fresh air. Something authentic but not dated, something exciting but not dictated by swagger, this is real music with substance and integrity.
Nick Javas came to the attention of DJ Premier a couple of year's back who immediately signed him to his label before taking Nick Javas on his European tour. Nick Javas shared the stage with Premo & Royce da 5'9 at Fabric in London as well as featuring on BBC Radio with TimWestwood and featuring on Kiss FM DJ Shortee Blitz's mixtape "The Standard: Volume 2", as well as rocking a capacity crowd in Paris alongside Premo, Just Blaze & Alchemist. As well as being a great songwriter and recording artist, Nick Javas is also an exceptionally great performer. This really is raw talent in every shape and form!
You maybe remember the superb 'Material Girls' music video that was unleashed a couple of weeks back, well here is the full length debut mixtape. Featuring some brilliant production from the likes of 5th Seal, Versatile, J. Brown, M-Phazes and Josh Gotoy, this mixtape also includes some great freestyles. This official mixtape is something to keep us going until the album 'Destination Unknown' drops and what a treat it is too with guest features by Hot 97's Peter Rosenberg and the legendary DJ Premier, as well as Gist the Essence, Tony Brocc, Nicci Silva and Nikki Graffiti. This is a mixtape you need to download right now!!!

MP3: Cee One - "Rose Colored Glasses" (prod. The Olympicks)

The Queens-born, Long Island raised emcee Cee One, is back with the second leak off his forthcoming mixtape Thoughts Become Things. This time around, Cee delivers some introspective verses over first rate production supplied by The Olympicks (Big Sean, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy) on "Rose Colored Glasses". "...I see you thinkin' that life is a peach, but we stretched out, life is a reach"...download. DOWNLOAD:
"Opportunities multiply as they are seized." - Sun Tzu
Such would be the quote that has guided Cee One thus far and has been working quite well. The setting, Queens, NY, 1984. Cee One was born from Haitian immigrant parents who utilized opportunities they've seized to help raise Cee to understand this saying better than they would ever imagine. In 1989, they would move to Long Island with hopes of more opportunity than the inner city would offer.
With the rise of socially conscious artists, many from Long Island, this would create a great influence on Cee's first taste of Hip Hop music. As he soaked in pieces of many of his influences, Cee has become a child of Hip Hop culture. By chance, Cee was enabled the opportunity to record songs and perform in 2000. As many of his peers were joining local gangs, Cee found himself in creating music. Surrounded by the pressures that young black men are often taken down by, he used his environment as a motivation to speak on the things he's seen. Crime and poverty went hand in hand in many areas of Long Island, a place where if you've never been, you would think was one of the most peaceful places to live in the country.
His summer 2010 release, "A Beautiful Mind" is receiving rave reviews from fans and critics alike. The mixtape included the hit single, "What's The Word" which was a feature song used by The Core DJs to advertise their Bi-Annual Retreat. The mixtape also generated another hit, "Tear The City Down" which was heating up in southeast clubs, on national radio, and was also featured on Jay Leno's Late Show during late 2010. His sound is guided by musical influences such as Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg, and Twista, citing longevity as his mission. He plans to release his new street album, "The Duality Complex" 3rd quarter 2011. Performing nationwide, Cee One has performed various songs at venues througout the US. His live show is powerful, engaging, and energetic, his recordings are classic, and even the harshest of critics agree we have yet to see his best. As opportunities present themselves, Cee One will only continue to grow as an artist and entrepreneur.

New to the music scene, DreamVille artist, Bas, is set to announce his entrance with a visual for "Legendary (featuring Beyond Belief)" off his debut project "Quarter Water Raised Me Vol. I". Filmed in New York City, the "Legendary" video takes viewers on a journey from Queens to Manhattan while providing some insight into the meaning of 'Quarter Water Raised Me'.
Beyond Belief not only lends a featured verse on "Legendary" , but is also credited with filming and co-directing the video for the track, along with Patrick Delisser of Deli Fresh Films. The creative direction of the video was provided by Skyline Society.
"The most important aspect of everything we do is authenticity. The bars that Bas and Beyond Belief spit are organic, and we wanted the video to capture their real life, day-to-day activities. We didn't want a boisterous exaggeration of 'swag'. -- My favorite aspect of this video is that it was shot by Pat and Beyond Belief who have known Bas for over 10 years. The ideation process was cohesive and steered clear of the cliche staged 'Hip-Hop' scenes." Clayton Taibi (Brand Architect - Skyline Society).
