The “Papi Wardrobe Kings” renaissance continues as he commingled with his Wu-Tang comrades on RZA’s “The Man With The Iron Fists” OST on the Wu-Tang Clan reunion track “Six Directions Of Boxing” and with his appearance on the Wu-Tang Clan & D-Block project "Wu-Block,” Wu-Tang Clan's tenth official member, Cappadonna, returns with his own forthcoming double-CD, 'Eyrth, Wynd & Fyre,' which will be released on 2-26-2013 on RBC Records.
What happens when you visit Bellingham, Washington and find producer IG88 cooking up soulful, moody beats to accompany the smooth harmonies and rugged rhymes of a local legend known as Jesus Chris Willis? You don’t know because you’ve never been. Just like you don’t know if there is an actual Jesus in actual Heaven (because you’ve never been); you either have faith or you don’t.
With guest appearances from Ghostface, Action Bronson, Mr. Muthafuckin’ eXquire, Roc Marciano, Vinnie Paz, Cappadonna & additional beats from DJ Premier & Oh No, you can expect nothing less then top notch production and rewind worthy lyricism from CZARFACE. "We are CZARFACE because they know our faces and they know us for being dope rhyme suppliers, like Tony Montana we are known for our balls and our word; lyrically we will conquer the world and everything in it” states Deck. Esoteric explains further, “CZARFACE is a vigilante, anti-hero character who serves as the face of the project, and his focus is on annihilating the media darlings that the mainstream caters to.”

Video: R.A. The Rugged Man Speaks on Big Daddy Kane

Brood Baby has joined forces with legendary hip-hop artist and journalist R.A. the Rugged Man to present Lesson of the Day, a new web series detailing hip-hop history lessons and personal rap stories from the Rugged Man. The first episode dissects Big Daddy Kane's slept-on and under-appreciated third album, Taste of Chocolate [1990 / Warner Bros]. Unlike Kane's first two classic releases, the album failed to achieve RIAA Gold certification, and was seen as a major disappointment in the hip-hop community. R.A. breaks down the record, reflects on hip-hop in the year 1990, and discusses the ups and downs in the career of one of his greatest rap influences. R.A.'s new album Legends Never Die hits stores this spring.
Rapper introduces listeners to his brand of Truth Music
(San Diego, CA) January 22, 2013-- Positive Hip-Hop artist Ruslan released his highly-anticipated solo debut album, “Carry On,” on iTunes and Amazon today. This album highlights the evolution of his career as an MC.
“We took an unorthodox approach to the creation of this album,” said Ruslan. The album features production from producers who are part of Kings Dream Entertainment, the music label that Ruslan founded. “I worked closely with producers DJ Rek and JRuckers to create our own unique sound,” Ruslan explained.
When asked about what it means to have a unique sound, Ruslan responded, “we make ‘Truth Music.’ It’s music that is true to who we are on and off stage, true to our experiences, and true to our view of Hip-Hop and the world.” Many of the songs on the album are very personal and obviously shaped by Ruslan’s experience of having come to America as a religious refugee.
“Carry On” is the follow-up to “Never Arrive,” an album Ruslan released in December of 2011 as the front man of Hip-Hop crew theBREAX. That album debuted at #3 on the iTunes Hip-Hop charts. Rusan expects even more success for “Carry On.”
“I’m excited to have some fun records on the album like ‘In My Heart,’ ‘Swerve,’ and ‘Kayfuem,’ that people might not be used to hearing from me,” said Ruslan.
While creating records that might surprise some people, no one will be surprised by the quality of the music and the quality of the artists featured on “Carry On.” Reach Records artist Lecrae, whose latest album reached #2 on the Billboard Top 200, is featured on the album along with Chris Cobbins of Late Bloom, and JR of High Society.
“I wanted to highlight the talents of Kings Dream artists, so I made sure that any other artists who were featured on the album brought a refreshing element to the album and only added to the overall quality of the sound.” Ruslan is confident that the featured artists did just that.
“I’m excited to be releasing my first full-length solo album. It has been an amazing experience to take my vision for my music and bring it to life.” Ruslan said. “I’m excited for people to hear it and be able to share this experience with me.” If the initial critical reaction is any indication, listeners will most definitely enjoy the “Carry On” musical experience.
“Carry On” is available as a download on both iTunes and Amazon. The Deluxe CD version of album, featuring a free download of bonus tracks and content, is available on the Kings Dream Entertainment website, KingsDreamENT.com
