MP3: SL Jones - "Wave Runner" (Prod. By DJ Burn One)

In the coming weeks, SL Jones and DJ Burn One will release their new collaborative EP, Paraphernalia, and while the rapper and producer continue to put the finishing touches on that project, they're excited to release a new song today, a teaser for fans, "Wave Runner."
While "Wave Runner" won't officially be included on Paraphernalia, it's the first song that SL and Burn One ever recorded together, and a great example of the quick chemistry the pair was able to build together. "I met Burn One at the studio and we just started vibing," recalls SL. "After bouncing a couple ideas off each other, we just went in and knocked it out."
That free wheeling, laid back approach comes across well on "Wave Runner," with Burn One's cooled out, airy instrumentation serving as the perfect backdrop for SL's smoothed out delivery and bouncy flow. "It was the beat, really, it just gave me that feeling," explains SL. "It's just one of those songs that sounds good when you let it play."
Just the other week, Roach Gigz released the video for "Wasabi," the lead single from his forthcoming official debut Bugged Out. Response has been overwhelming - the video is fast approaching 60,000 views on YouTube - and so, as a thank you to his fans, Roach is releasing a brand new track, one that won't be included on Bugged Out, "Straight Gin."
Portland, Oregon duo Luck-One & Dekk team up with hometown crooner Dizz on the track "Murderers;" a seemingly impossible, but none the less pleasing mixture of top-notch rapid fire lyrical delivery, and sing along vocal accompaniment.
Luck-One & Dekk's forthcoming full length LP, Beautiful Music Pt. 2 drops Tuesday, February 21, 2012.
