PR: Cashmere's New Single, "730 Project" Coming Soon

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE -- Fast rising New York rapper Cashmere unveils his new single, "730", from his upcoming mixtape titled "The 730 Project", which is set to be released this summer. The release is hosted and presented by renowned DJ/producer seven3zero as an appetizer for Cashmere's eagerly awaited sophomore album, "Take Me Higher", which is the follow up to the much hyped rapper's debut album, "Take Me Away", that won "Underground Album Of The Year" at the prestigious 2010 Underground Music Awards.

Cashmere (born Tywan M. Harris) is a versatile rapper, songwriter, and entrepreneur, and no newbie to the music industry as he's already rocking the underground Hip-Hop circuit since years as one of the most sought after rappers from New York.

Once hailed as the next superstar from the Big Apple with official support from DJ Kay Slay, Notorious B.I.G.'s official deejay, DJ Enuff, Hot 97's Funkmaster Flex and Mister Cee, and DJ Clue, Cashmere is back on his grind, backed by his label The Cash Administration.

Cashmere has worked with many major artists including UGK member Bun B, old school legend Big Daddy Kane, The Diplomats' head honcho Jim Jones, Lil Boosie, Akon, Maino, Shady Records signee and Slaughterhouse member Joell Ortiz and a host of others.

Netherfriends' Middle America on Vinyl

From Thomas P:

Netherfriends' Middle America on Vinyl

On August 21st, prolific singer/songwriter Shawn Rosenblatt, better know as Netherfriends, will release Middle America on pink vinyl via Chicago-based Kilo Records. The previously digitally-released album, a rarity for strictly wax Kilo Records, will now be available in local record shops for all consumers that appreciate the tangible. From the spring of 2010 to 2011 Shawn, sole creator of Netherfriends, toured the United States writing and recording a song in every state. This is the first collection to be released in LP format.

During the months of August and September Netherfriends will embark on a cross country tour. What better way to promote a two year-long touring project than more touring? Previously with short stints of additional backing members, Shawn has turned his act into a one-man show that is undeniably fun. Using sampler, drum pad, keyboard, guitar, and self-made percussion box (equipped with pots, metal poles, and wood-blocks) Shawn is able to create intricate layers of sounds that evolve into songs that even the late great James Brown would shake a feather to. As a special treat to the city that helped create Netherfriends, Chicago, Shawn will perform Middle America in its entirety with full backing band. This will be a one night only record release celebration not to miss.
