Mista Flix hooked up with producer and De Facto Entertainment label boss Stealf back in July 2011 when they released the well received their five track EP 'Conceptualized Deceit'. Since then Mista Flix has been hard on his grind sketching and penning a whole barrage of new songs for future projects while Stealf has been reshaping the direction of his label De Facto as well as releasing and producing the superb EP 'Beats & Rhymes Vol.1' from US rapper Jackitdown Brown which featured Kool G Rap.
Fast forward to November 2011 and the news came to light that the London based emcee had in fact signed to De Facto Entertainment. Now Mista Flix has a string of future projects planned all of which perfectly compliments the De Facto sound and outlook for hip hop. A full length Stealf produced album entitled 'The Gospel For The Rap School' is already in the works and will be available digitally in May along with a limited edition run of 100 physical copies which will contain two CD's, the album and instrumental version, along with a DVD showing the recording process of the project.
To keep us going until the album drops, Mista Flix and Stealf have teamed up once again to unleash another free download EP that really hits the spot. Already getting superb reviews on-line as well as some support from various internet radio stations in the UK and overseas, Mista Flix is setting the pace and continuing to build a steadily growing loyal fan-base of true Hip-Hop heads. With the deep intelligent lyrical rhyme patterns along with a quality Boom Bap 'real Hip-Hop' sound from producers Stealf, Karnage and Kobi Wood, Mista Flix proves he and De Facto are taking the commercial to Mordor and are indeed Lords Of The Real. PASADENA, JANUARY 14, 2012 - VH1, Pepsi and the NFL are bridging the gap between football and music with another year of VH1’S “PEPSI SUPERBOWL FAN JAM.” Taking place at the Indianapolis State Fairgrounds, this year’s sold-out concert extravaganza will pay tribute to the All-American sport of football and its 46th Super Bowl, with performances by Gym Class Heroes, B.o.B and The All-American Rejects, among other special guest appearances and performances. Carrie Keagan and Jason Dundas from VH1’s “Big Morning Buzz Live” will host the night’s festivities, which will not only include spectacular live performances but will feature candid interviews and appearances from many of the NFL’s biggest players. VH1’s “PEPSI SUPERBOWL FAN JAM” will air LIVE on VH1 on Thursday, February 2 at 9 PM.*
Gym Class Heroes, with frontman Travie McCoy, kick off the night as they perform some of their biggest hits and songs from their new album “The Papercut Chronicles II,” including a guest performance by Adam Levine on the hit song “Stereo Hearts.” Neon Hitch will join the group on their current single “Ass Back Home.”
Fresh off of five Grammy nominations for his debut album, and preparing to launch the follow-up album “Strange Clouds” this Spring, B.o.B will also take the stage, as will The All-American Rejects, who, after selling more than 4 million albums and 16 million singles worldwide, are set to release their fourth studio album, “Kids In The Street” which will also be released Spring 2012.
