Video: Intikana & DJ Charlie Hustle - "Mucha Presion"
After months of touring several countries, I have to say that I am very proud to present a new music video for a song that was originally on MASTER CLEANSE. The new music video is titled "MUCHA PRESIÓN" ["A Lot of Pressure"] and was filmed in Cuba. The song features Cuban Hip Hop Artist El Tipo Este from the internationally acclaimed group Obsesión which was and still is one of the original pioneering Hip Hop groups in Cuba. You might have seen him in the documentary "Inventos" which was filmed by Eli Jacobs-Fantauzzi or "Jails, Hospitals, & Hip Hop" with Danny Hoch.
The song also features Sigrid, an amazing Cuban Singer & Songstress, as well as Ali Dahesh and Antony of Egypt who are both artists from Canada. For me, this song embodies the meditative state my spirit is in when I travel and experience new things. The pressure of living up to expectations can sometimes be heavy but no matter what...we must journey within ourselves and find the truths we are prepared to offer the world.
MP3: Fly Moon Royalty - "Back to You (Butter Remix)" f/ Spac3man

On February 6th, Seattle duo Fly Moon Royalty released their self-titled debut album. Having already earned singer AdraBoo and producer Action Jackson high acclaim, including a number of well-received performances around the Northwest, the duo continues to put out new treats for their loyal fans. With the official video for lead single "Lemonade" planned for release in the coming weeks, Fly Moon Royalty is excited to bring fans an official remix for album closer, "Back To You."
The song, officially titled "Back To You (Butter Remix)" features fellow Seattleite and Sportn' Life Records label mate Spac3man, and while the sound and feel of the song has changed with this latest incarnation, it's still tells the tale of far-away love. "It was written to tell someone that they left an impression," says AdraBoo about the track. "It's for 'the one that got away,' for a long distance love, someone whose energy just stays with you."
Sonically, Action Jackson rebuilt this remix from the ground up. While the original puts forth an up-tempo, electro vibe, the remix is all stripped down and slowed down soul, built around Action's reverberating keys and steady drums. AdraBoo's toned vocals play off the new track well, and both are complimented by Spac3man's verse, an emotionally raw verse about love and loss.

On March 13th, 4th Pyramid will release his new album, The Pyramid Scheme. It's Pyramid's first album since he signed his Silk Ivory label to a joint deal with Lyrics To Go/Universal Music, and now, following the success of the video for debut single "Webslinger," the Toronto rapper/producer is excited to release the album's second single, "So Balboa."
For "So Balboa," Pyramid teamed up with two of Toronto's finest, bringing together a legend, in Saukrates, and fellow up-and-comer, in producer Rich Kidd, for a boisterous hometown anthem. Rich Kidd's beat, all bass and low-end thump, is the perfect fit for Pyramid's slick brag-raps, and chant-along hook. "We roll clouds over/ Whole town knows us," he raps on the chorus. "This shit here, is So Balboa."
For his part, Saukrates matches the tracks energy, delivering a powerful bridge and showing why he's widely regarded as one of the T. Dot's finest and most talented. "When we finished the song I kind of wanted a singing bridge to break up the verses," explains Pyramid, adding that working with Saukrates was a long-time goal. "Saukrates heard the record and jumped on it right away." The finished track serves not only as a new single, but for 4th Pyramid, it's also a statement song: "We're young kings taking over," he says. "Get ready"

There are those producers who demand attention, there are those whose discography boasts nothing but hits and then there are those who do all that while maintaining the true Hip-Hop vibe upon which they have nurtured their craft. Norfolk Beach native, Nottz, embodies all that plus more.
Eager to present to the masses both the countless tracks Nottz has been accountable for as well as to engage people with their cutting edge appreciation of music, the Best Men got to work in the studio. The outcome is GOIN' NOTTZ which will be available to the masses on Thursday February 23rd.
"Nottz is one of the most underrated producers in the game. In the last 15 years he produced almost every popular rap artist in the US and he's an important part of the Hip Hop culture. This mixtape is an homage to this great Producer.“ - DJ COSTA
"It is always interesting to work on projects with different kinds of people, especially with one of the caliber of Nottz. In this way you can get to know different music styles and also get to understand their music. This helps to overcome boundaries and explore new grounds.“ - DJ SHIG

Southern California emcee Thoughtsarizen teamed with Ariano to proudly unleash the Destructive Love EP for free— or donation—download, now available via www.destructivelove.com. The duo, which will follow up with a sequel to the concept EP in the Spring, shot a video for the first track laid down, “This Ain’t Living,” which serves as the EP’s single and initial inspiration to record a joint release.
“Ariano brings the more human side of music to the forefront,” said Thoughtsarizen of the collaboration. “Listeners I hope take away a different viewpoint or a relatable tale and, of course, good music.” Featured artists contributing to the EP include Rakaa from Dilated Peoples, Pacewon of The Outsidaz, Akrobatik and LDontheCut of Technicali sound.
"A lot of people giveaway free music because no one wants to buy it and they don't feel comfortable selling. You can tell that it’s a free record,” said Ariano. “With this record, you get artwork, video, presentation behind it. It’s cool that there's that focus, that the album is focused.” A limited CD pressing is also available, which includes immediate digital download.
Fams and fans, I know how much you love hearing from me, but due to my hectic schedule, I am sad to say that I wont be able to update you as often. With school, planning this tour, working on the business and making music, I am losing the little bits of extra time I had for sharing my advancements with you.
To streamline my efforts I have created a new website that is easy to use and filled with current info. In addition, I have added the new faces of First Dirt so you have a chance to check them out as well. Please take a few seconds and check out the site www.firstdirt.com and let me know what you think.
Thank you for your continued support.
