From Nora Ritchie:

Video: Co$$ - "Spaceman"

Yesterday, Co$$ debuted the video for "Spaceman," the first single from his debut album Before I Awoke over at XXL. Today, he unleashes it to the world. The video is performance-based with shots of Co$$ in his neighborhood Leimert Park and high in the hills of Los Angeles as the sun sets. The track is set over a rapidly moving jazz sample and has no chorus, a testament to the strength of Co$$ as a lyricist.

"Spaceman" digital single is out on iTunes on May 31st and his full length debut album Before I Awoke is out on June 21st via Tres Records.

Before I Awoke is a very personal project that Co$$ painstakingly worked on for 3 years. The title represents Co$$' awakening from a haze of sleepwalking through life. On the album he throws out think piece after think piece on the state of his relationships, creative expression, dreams, his father's passing, lost lovers and more. Co$$' lyrics cut deep with a sense of poetic urgency that is both reflective and brutally honest. Album features include Aloe Blacc, Blu, Sene, and Shawn Jackson and production credits from Exile, Fonetik Simbol, J83, Cook Classics and more. Co$$ has previously, according to the Los Angeles Times, "quietly assassinated the few guest appearance he's been on." Co$$ was also featured on Fashawn's critically acclaimed Boy Meets World and Exile's album Dirty Science.

Riff Raff McGriff Bio:

He "came to rock", and proceeds to do so. Through the muck and mire, a head strong motive combined with "don't stop presure" emerges from the "dence cloud of BS hanging of Hip Hop music". The name Dex aka "Riff Raff McGriff is sure to strike a cored in the soul of champions world wide with the raw sounds of grimy beats inspired by electrifying lyrics. Another Oxnard, CA addition to the underground world of Hip Hop to cosign on the frequently stated quote "there's something in the water in Oxnard."
