PR: Far East Movement's "For All" Inspired by Barack Obama

"The song was inspired by President Obama's 'For All' campaign. We wanted to create an anthem around the inspirational ideals that people around the world are entitled to, no matter your race, religion, sexual preference, political or social views," says Far East Movement's Kev Nish. "We use the crowd at our concerts as the example. When you're at a show experiencing live music, no matter who you're next to, you're experiencing that magic together."

Short Fuze & Nasa - Free Single Breaking Down the Election!
Courtesy Uncommon Records.
In response to the apathetic sentiment that plagues our nation, Uncommon Records is releasing a free single from Short Fuze & Nasa, In Your Hands Now. This track takes us back through Obama’s historic election in 2008 and how we changed America when we worked together and voted. Just like history was made when Obama was elected, his re-election this year could be known as the moment we banded together and tossed back the threats of those that sought to separate us with hate and sell us off for profit.
Waaaaaaake up! It’s 2012 and 7evenThirty is bringing all kinds of hell. After tearing up Atlanta at the A3C showcase, then swinging thru Jackson, Mississippi for a little celebratory event, 7evenThirty brings labelmate Apollo Brown to the table for a fresh mix of Twenty Twelve.

This is the 1st single off Trip's soon-to-be released street-tape entitled, THE RECORD IS PLAYING. T.R.I.P. KNOWLEDGE is of Puerto Rican & Greek decent. He's our street-lyricist. Born in Texas, raised in Brooklyn and now resides in Orlando, FL (aka the Ozone). His first name, T.R.I.P. stands for a numerous amount of acronyms but mostly "Thug Reality Is Pain". After living his thug life in the streets (which eventually caught up with him), this is something he knows first hand that having such knowledge is a trip.
