Today, Hayze is releasing a brand new single from the tape, "Life Is Hell," which features Apathy and serves as a perfect introduction for the hardened, quick-witted lyricism that caught Apathy's attention when he first heard Hayze rap less than a year ago. "He sounded mad different from anything I was hearing," recalls Apathy. "Most fans would probably expect me to champion someone who has a similar sound as Demigodz, or Army of the Pharaohs, but that's exactly the opposite of what I heard from him and what I dug about his music."

London based collective Kings Of The City release brand new track ‘Please Tell Me’, recently premiered world-wide as a future hit on Radio 1 by Zane Lowe. As a band they exist in the badlands between Blues, Rock and Hip Hop somewhere in the midst of Jake Bugg, Plan B, Oasis and Wretch 32.

Please Tell Me is a track influenced by Classic Rock and Hip Hop with a Blues laden riff making it simultaneously dark and powerful. The chorus is sung with passionate desperation complimented by the gripping raps over smooth and swaying guitars.

This coming Tuesday, February 19th, Curly Castro will release his Man Bites Dog Records debut, FIDEL. The album, which will be released for free and presented by DJBooth.net, for the uninitiated fan, serves as the perfect intro to the Flatbush, Brooklyn-raised, Philly-based rapper. Often rebellious throughout, FIDEL explores issues of race, social equality, and more, influenced sounds ranging from Boot Camp Clik to Johnny Cash, and including guest work from the likes of Has-Lo and Zilla Rocca, both of whom also produce on the album, alongside Georgia Anne Muldrow, Small Professor, and more. Today, Curly Castro is releasing the video for "They Call Me Castro."
