Today, Virginia native Bobby Capri returns with the anthem, "Confetti" for everyone to celebrate. “Confetti” will be featured on Bobby Capri’s upcoming EP #InstantGratification which will be released on 3-25-2013. The track is produced by Linz Prag and co-produced by The Amazing Doc-Ock and The Magnificent Minds of Heavy Green Academy.
Hip Hop mourns its first loss of 2013, with the death of BX veteran rapper Timothy "Tim Dog" Blair today from a seizure following a long bout with diabetes. He was 46 years old.
Tim is most noted for his "Fuck Compton" anthem towards Dr. Dre and N.W.A. during the height of the East Coast vs. West Coast rap beef. The song garnered several response tracks from DJ Quik, Compton's Most Wanted, and Dr. Dre. He has appeared on projects with the likes of KRS-One and The Ultramagnetic MCs.
Blair was briefly in the news again last year when he was caught in a sting operation by "Dateline NBC", where he was set up for swindling single women out of thousands on an online dating scam.
Tim Dog was present and active during a pivotal time and Hip Hop and unapolgetically made his mark.
Here is a new track I did with this amazing, young production duo called Ninety One hailing from France. The track is called Fakin' It and the link to share is below along with where their album can be purchased. I hope you all enjoy this.

Houston, TX ~ The weekend of NBA All Star events kicks off in Houston on Friday, February 15th and Insights Marketing and Promotions, a leading veteran in sporting events for the past 15 years, is starting the weekend off in style right smack in the middle of the city. Located at Hess Private Club on Westheimer, directly across from the infamous Galleria Mall, this All Star Reunion Ultimate Daytime Event will be hosted by Doug E. Fresh and feature music from both Biz Markie and DJ Don Quick. The event's entertainment will also feature a live, intimate performance from former Next frontman, RL, who recently launched his solo career with a new single, "Boo'd Up", in preparation for his upcoming sophomore solo album, "5:15."
Whilst it may seem to many that RL has been inactive since the disbandment of Next, the veteran crooner has actually been very busy behind the scenes pening with the likes of Luther Vandross, Jaime Foxx, Usher and recording with the legendary Teddy Riley, whom RL considers a big brother and mentor, for his next single. That being said, RL hopes that his fans bring fresh ears with them to his upcoming project. Of the impending campaign RL had this to say, "I want to sing every song like it’s the 1st time, conduct every interview like it’s my 1st, and really enjoy the experience like its my 1st time as an artist." "5:15" is due out later this year.
