Rediculus Announces Lost Things Debut Single and Knowledge Giving Birth First Re-Education Tour
Courtesy Park Street PR.
Rediculus isn't missing a beat this year. Fresh off the success of Masters of Conversations: Punchlines and Parables and Big Dutty Deeze: The English Gentleman, Rediculus wastes no time hitting us with something dope and new, Lost Things: The Search for Lost Things.
Lost Things is Rediculus's new project featuring Prome on the vocals and Rediculus on the production. Prome matches intense verses laced with pop culture references, spirituality and self-awareness perfectly over the soulful sample driven sonic landscapes that Rediculus is known to provide.
The first single, Red Road, is a big taste of what the album has in store. Clocking in at just 1:50, it's short, hot and to the point. The track blasts you from the first kick to the last piano hit with raw boom bap crunch and grit. Prome takes the music to a new level with darts like "Father forgive us/knew better/we'd do better/but ain't no mo' teachers". The 10 track debut EP is slated to drop by the end of the month.
Knowledge Giving Birth Productions is also proud to announce its first KGB Re-Education tour which will feature Lost Things, Rich Malone, The Day Laborers and Notoriety. Making stops in Chicago, Cleveland, Boston, Connecticut and Brookyln NYC, this tour promises to bring great music to each venue and re-educate people on how they see hip hop and the future it holds.
Brenton Brown is back with the final release before the debut of The Brenton Brown Affair. "Capulets & Montagues," is a twist on the classic tragedy Romeo & Juilet as told through the words of Brenton, New Jersey emcee Ess Vee and Miami lyricist Quest. The hook is sung by Bryan Black over a beat produced by Dj Brothawolf.

Doc Ish Protege Sinis Releases New Mixtape & Video
Grammy Award winning producer Doc Ish (producer of Eminem’s “We Made You” and who alos released a star-studded compilation, The First Treatment, in 2010) recently made a new addition to his Inyahead/Sony imprint, signing Sinis to a new deal and both are currently working on Sinis’ debut EP for the label.
Sinis (born Eliud Sanchez Jr. and raised in New Britain, CT) quickly gained popularity on Connecticut's underground rap scene due to his affiliation with local outfit the U.N.I.T and the group was ultimately signed to an indie label that soon went south.
Looking to create a buzz, Sinis linked up with upstart local producer Jack Nickelz to create Sinis’ debut mixtape, iPod Masterpieces: Ninth Wonder Edition, which was ultimately planned to be the first in a series of mixtapes.
With some good momentum built up, Sinis assembled a team of CT producers to begin work on his debut LP, You’re Welcome, which debuted on iTunes in 2009. With a recent Grammy Award win and his profile significantly raised, Doc Ish saw potential in Sinis and upon his return back to CT sought out Sinis, to further develop his talents for his then still new Inyahead Imprint.
To bridge the gap between the EP they are working on which will be released this fall, Doc Ish and Sinis decided to revisit iPod Masterpieces series, recently releasing the newest installment ; DJ Premier Edition which finds Sinis rocking over classic Primo instrumentals; the mixtape can be downloaded here: http://www.datpiff.com/Sinis-Ipod-Masterpieces-mixtape.364589.html .
Boys Noize "What You Want" + Out Of The Black on 10/2
"This particular track was inspired by the vibes I get from the Beastie Boys, for instance," Ridha told Rolling Stone. "Their Licensed to Ill album is one of my all-time favorite records, and to me 'What You Want' has some sort of B-boy style mixed with my obsession on robot vocals and modern sound aesthetics. This song combines a lot of things I love about electronic music."
Boys Noize will play America here (more dates below):
8/03 – Los Angeles, CA @ HARD Festival
8/31 – Las Vegas, NV @ Haze
9/02 – New York, NY @ Electric Zoo Festival
Boys Noize announces his third album Out Of The Black to be released on October 2nd worldwide via his own label Boysnoize Records. Alex Ridha, the Berlin-based producer, DJ and label owner who started producing and DJing at a very early age. The new album perfectly bridges the gap between his previous two efforts Oi Oi Oi and POWER; providing the requisite in-your-face electro bang of classic Boys Noize on tracks like “What You Want”,“Rocky 2” and “XTC”, or more melodic songs like "Ich R U“ and“Reality“. At a time when mainstream electronic music—particularly the pervasive cultures of EDM and dubstep—have moved dance music out of the clubs and into the stadiums, Ridha is quick to acknowledge the old school house and acid records that shaped him as a DJ; the very same records that continue to bubble up as an influence on Out Of The Black.
Boys Noize is proud to bring a full live show to the stage for the first time on October 6th in Berlin, the start of an extensive 25-city European live tour (dates below + more to be announced soon).
