Every Sunday at 9:30 PM EST we air a live new edition of Hip-Hop Shop on BlogTalkRadio like the one you're about to hear - Episode #80 - Music to Mow the Lawn-By! That title is a bit of an inside joke for my good friend Spice who you'll be hearing from on an upcoming edition of the show, but if you do get it rest assured Compton's Most Wanted isn't in today's mix (big up to MC Eiht though). Enjoy new music from Black Sheep, Quanstar, Carnage45 and more! Send all feedback on the show to email@example.com. Thanks for listening and remember to share the show with a friend and tell them to check out the replay every Tuesday on RapReviews.com!

"It is officially summertime, and with that comes a bevy of new music. This month's podcast has ten great new songs, including the ABX debuts of four artists you'll definitely be hearing a lot from. As always, I encourage everybody to download the show, burn it onto a CD, and blast if from their ride, because during the summer the music must be loud and it must match the temperate, meaning its gotta be hot. Believe me when I tell you I have all that and then some for ya. Enjoy! Hit me up with feedback at AdamB@RapReviews.com." The Adam B Experience is 100% PODSAFE and TOTALLY FREE so tell your friends to download ABX right here at RapReviews.com!
I may not like their sports teams, but man oh man does Philly have some fantastic emcees. One such emcee is Side Effect. Side Effect’s been building his name in Philly’s underground scene for nearly a decade. His first album, Underground Concoction, was a self-released effort that came out in 2003. He followed that in 2004 with Rocking Chair Theory, which was released on Krush Unit Inc. and featured the single “Spitacular,” the video for which earned Side Effect a few dates on that year’s Vans Warped Tour. A few more albums, and a few collaborations with Snowgoons, later, Side Effect is bringing people Cabin Fever. The Karma Response Unit Records release features production from Happ G and some of the best lyricism around. This week I caught up with Side Effect to find out more about his music, the audience he hopes it reaches, and the reasons why Philly’s underground hip-hop scene sometimes flies pretty far under the radar.
[Y'all may remember Ayatollah as a producer who did classic joints with Mos Def ("Ms. Fat Booty"), Black Rob ("Like a Stranger"), and Styles P ("My Life" w/ Pharoahe Monch). Here's a new remix EP of classic hip-hop joints given an Ayatollah touch.]
[And still no gas face for the Professor Prince P-PAUL~! Long story short, he released this rare joint back in 995 and now in 2010, he gave it away for all the Arsenio Hall-gum havin' punks to download. Some of these joints would also end up on Paul's classic "The Prince Among Thieves" years later. ]
[Rick Rawse calls this one "strictly for the Teflon Don lovers." Hopefully this may not be the last you'll hear of the name Rick Ross being used as a rap before the original Freeway Ricky Ross takes it back if the court sees fit. However, this serves as a good prequel to his upcoming album in July.]

David Banner and 9th Wonder's Death Of A Pop Star will be released this summer via David Banner's Big Face Ent.
9th Wonder has a history of teaming with legendary emcees and crafting dream projects that have resulted in both critical and commercial success. A producer from North Carolina, 9th Wonder started his career as the main producer for the hip-hop group, Little Brother. Leaving Little Brother after their second album together, The Minstrel Show, 9th Wonder has since become a producer and emcee in his own right. Working with MURS, Nas, Beyonce, Jay-Z and more, 9th Wonder has made a name for himself in the hip-hop world. Also known as his rapper alterego, 9thmatic, 9th Wonder is a modern-day hip-hop renaissance man.
Hailing from Jackson, Mississippi, David Banner has made a name for himself on the hip-hop scene since 2000. Since then, he has released four studio albums and even became a celebrated producer like producing smash hits like T.I.'s "Rubberband Man," and having smash hits of his own like "Get Like Me". David Banner's most recent successes include writing, producing, and arranging (with guidance from Jimmy Smith and The G Team at Chalt Day) the new non-hip hop Gatorade theme song "Evolve," performed by Kermit Quinn. Teaming up with 9th Wonder may seem like an unusual collaboration but as the two talented artists come together, their initial album will leave a deep impression on fans. Death of A Pop Star drops summer 2010 via David Banner's own Big Face Entertainment.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: INVESTIGATION CLOSED ON FAT JOE AND HIS ENTOURAGE
STATEMENT ISSUED BY DAWN FLORIO ESQ. ON BEHALF OF JOSEPH CARTAGENA
Joseph Cartagena, known as Fat Joe, and others have been officially cleared by the Madison Wisconsin Police Department of any wrongdoing. Fat Joe had no contact with, and never spoke to his accuser. He was questioned for a few minutes at his hotel room and was never detained by the police.
Making a false claim of a sexual nature in order to extort money is one of the most horrific accusations because it not only tarnishes reputations but has the potential to destroy families. Mr. Cartagena wholeheartedly thanks his family, friends, and fans for their continued support, loyalty, and words of encouragement throughout this ordeal.
