Underground Legend Ant Bills First Executive Producer Credit Outside Rhymesayers
April 29, 2009 (Minneapolis)- For the first time, Atmosphere producer Ant teams up with
Stophouse Music Group to present Recession Music, a high-quality album featuring the best of
Midwest hip-hop without the price. Since the formation of Rhymesayers Entertainment, Ant
has never worked outside of his own label as an executive producer. Stophouse’s in-label
executive producer, Dillon Parker, and Anthony “Ant” Davis have a long history of offering each
other feedback on their various projects. After being an influential behind-the-scenes figure
throughout the creation of Recession Music, Ant decided the final product was so good he’d be a
fool not to put his name on it.

Recession Music is a collaboration of Stophouse artists Prof and St. Paul Slim, who were
inspired in these trying times by the bootleggers of the Great Depression. Channeling the
entrepreneurial spirit of these hooch hustlers, Prof and Slim join forces to distribute a product at
a recession-friendly price without compromising on quality. Helping them in this venture are
notorious underground rappers Slug, POS, Big Zach of Kanser, and Atlanta-based Yelawolf.
On May 12, an in-store version of Recession Music featuring two bonus tracks will be available
at Cal Surf, Fifth Element, and Cheapo for $5. The album will also be available for free online at
www.recessionmusic.com.
