There are two reasons (and only two) I gave this single the time of day - the first was that Snoop Dogg is on the track and the second is that Drumma Boy did the beat. On the latter account D-Boy is going throwback to the earliest days of Southern crunk and horrorcore with his sound, familiar and slightly menacing, making you feel like tearing up a club or two. On the former account, Snoop does his best to make this partnership work, spitting a triple time style for a few bars to match up with the beat. When Snoop imitates Gucci's simplistic rhyme scheme to close his verse by rhyming "awesome" every bar though, he's just pointing out how limited and uninteresting Mane really is as a rapper. I'd like to get an instrumental of this one to crank up loud, or maybe that and the acapella so I could mix a version with Snoop all by himself.
