The homie Kevin Nottingham hosted a contest a few months back that encouraged fans to submit remixes, covers, etc of their fav TCQ joints for possible inclusion on a future released tribute mixtape... naturally, you know i had to get involved...

As a fun challenge, i chose "Butter" off "The Low End Theory", which many know as Phife's solo-styled joint in which he kills the beat while recanting the infamous story of "the one called Flo". I coulda picked from any number of songs from Tribe's 5 albums, BUT i ran with "Butter" mainly because i had interviewed Phife just weeks before on Subsoniq...

So, here it is, my salute to the ones who got me into making music in the first place...
