The album is led by the contentious “Amen” featuring Drake which recently cracked the Top 10 on Billboard’s “Hip-Hop/R&B charts. Its follow-up, the Kirko Bangz-assisted “Young & Getting’ It,” holds the #1 spot as the most added single at urban mainstream radio this week with spins lined-up in 43 stations across the country.

Dreams And Nightmares also features appearances from Rick Ross, Wale, Nas, John Legend, Mary J. Blige, Trey Songz, and Louie V. Production on the 14-track album is relegated to a slew of talented producers that balance out the album’s soundscape such as Jahlil Beats, Boi-1da, Key Wane, and Kane Beatz amongst others.

After years of navigating Philly’s trigger-happy rap circuit with mixtapes highlighting his street-savvy tales, clever wordplay, and distinctive voice, Meek Mill was picked up by Rick Ross in 2011 after catching the ear of the hip-hop heavyweight who was looking to form his own music label. A graduate of XXL’s 2011 “Freshman 10,” Meek contributed a pair of hits to the label’s compilation album, MMG Presents: Self Made, Vol. 1 : “Tupac Back” and the anthemic “Ima Boss” which attracted Jay-Z, Diddy, Birdman and Swizz Beatz for its remix. With 2011’s Dreamchasers heralded as one of the best mixtape of the year, Meek Mill released his follow-up Dreamchasers 2 in May of 2012 crashing several file sharing websites following over 3 million downloads and 6 million listens.
