The aftermath of Hurricane Sandy left much of the New York and New Jersey without power, food, and in many cases, shelter. This has been the most devastating natural disaster to effect the area in the history of New York City and HOT 97 and Hip Hop Has Heart moilized immediately after the storm. Hot 97 reached out to our hip hop counterparts and secured clothing and radios from RocaWear, Trukfit, Swizz Beatz Reebok, Young and Reckless and HD Radio. They then made their way out to Coney Island, Rockaway, Manhattan, The Bronx and Hoboken to make sure the hardest hit places got the help they needed.
