In June of 2008 Brooklyn emcee Loki da Trixta made a pilgrimage to the small Polish town of Piekary Śląskie. There he met with an experimental beat maker named Deft Aphid, the two quickly became friends and formed the musical union known as The Breadmakerz. The first single from their debut EP Electrograph is entitled 'Sexy Robot.' It is a catchy, uptempo, fun and funky party jam. Throughout the entire EP the music is all original and crafted through a painstaking process of collaboration primarily via email. The result is Electrograph a long EP, or short LP, with a sound as diverse as the musical backgrounds of the conspirators. With tracks ranging from club bangers to electrofunk, political techno and even a very funny 80s pop spoof, this project is defenitly something fresh. Check the video to get a better feel for the character of The Breadmakerz and be sure to add Sexy Robot to your playlists. http://www.deepthinka.com/sexyrobot.html
