Audio: Scott Ramirez - Headlocks
Courtesy S.R.
In "Headlocks," Toronto rhyme-slinger Scott Ramirez places his audience in a submission move while serenading them with personal thoughts, social commentary & rabid braggadocio over big band-type horns and thumping drums. Inspired by jazz records and dusty vice grip raps, produced by Justunlimited, this single is the first release off a performance heavy year with opening slots for the GZA, Masta Killa, J-Live and Stalley and since his official debut EP "Mad Work, Low Pay, Big Dreams" in 2011.
