"This song was produced by Chuck Inglish of the Cool Kids, before they really blew up," commented FAFU of Blestenation. "Werdplay did the video with Samtubia Edwards and it turned out dope. I remember I was at the studio working on some kind of punk-folk song and they showed up with cameras and grabbed us. We shot our parts in the hallway over there. I love what he did with the footage in post-production. That kid has a really nice aesthetic to his work."
"Samtubia and Samgoma Edwards were the monsters behind the visuals in this one," added Werdplay. "I basically shot out some ideas and we were on the same page immediately. We shot a lot more footage but we were running out of time to get it done so we had to scrap a lot of shots we did in Las Vegas and other spots."
Blestenation have been destroying the world of underground hip-hop on tour with the likes of Bone Thugs -N- Harmony, Scarface, Killah Priest, and the Warped Tour. The group was previously signed to Geffen Records, but their reckless behavior got them kicked off of the Warped Tour, into fist fights inside the Sony Music offices, and booted out of the Teen Choice Awards after an altercation with American Idol's Ryan Seacrest.
Blestenation will release their debut album "MBugout City" on February 23rd, 2010 through Suburban Noize Records. The group’s digital EP, "Left For Dead", is available now through digital retailers and www.SubNoizeStore.com .
