Tariq "Black Thought" Trotter of Philadelphia's legendary Hip-Hop band, The Roots has invited his VIP friends to use their voices for a special day with a very special cause.
n February 16, some of the top names in Philly entertainment will gather in support of the health and well-being of disadvantaged girls and women.

Health Forum & Benefit Concert
is a community call-to-action
(prompted by First Lady Michelle Obama)
use our collective voices to bring attention and support to Philadelphia's disadvantaged girls and women, while leading a star-studded day of education and music!
In the morning:
Mayor Michael Nutter and other special guests will join the girls from GrassROOTS' C.H.I.C.K.S. program for their Walk/Run and Community Health Forum.
In the evening:
Artist performers and VIP guests will participate in a special, onstage photo opp with Black Thought. We'll also share more about GrassROOTS Community Foundation, along with a few, small ways people everywhere can lend a hand to girls and women in need.
