Anika is releasing a self-titled EP on April 16 via Stones Throw. The release is highlighted by stormy post-punk riffs, rattling tambourine beats, a thin, dissonant guitar and Geoff Barrow of Portishead and BEAK>'s on-point production. Like the singer herself, "Anika" is dark, minimal wave and induces a very delicate atmosphere - haunted by Anika's deadpan vocals.
