Subsoniq Pulled from SiriusXM Airwaves

Here's what www.ProgHipHop.com had to say about this disappointing turn of events:

"It seems that after 7+ years on the satellite radio platform, SiriusXM has decided to pull Subsoniq from the air indefinitely.

Subsoniq was the long running premiere “progressive hip hop” show on the satellite platform.

If you want to share your feedback,  thoughts, concerns, memories, etc. you can reach out at backspin@siriusxm.com

K-Murdock Comments On His Blog

Here's what K-Murdock had to say about the situation on his blog:

"What a crazy 1-week span for me as far as emotions go! Last tuesday i was both elated & relieved that my latest project, "Piano-rama", was finally seeing the light of day here in the States... and NOW, i sit here feeling shocked & betrayed after learning Monday that the show i hosted for the last 8 years on XM Satellite Radio, Subsoniq, is no more!  One thing i have learned during my 10-year tenure in the "radio business" is that no one/show is promised tomorrow!  Trust me, when the big-wigs make decisions, the talent, and more importantly, the FANS are the last to know!  What really sucks beyond the fact that i wont be able to go on air and help promote good, progressive hip-hop music anymore, is that the artist who make it, will have one less, yet major, outlet to get it played on!"
