From Kerosene Media:
Kottonmouth Kings Nominated for High Times Doobie Award
California based hell raisers the Kottonmouth Kings have been nominated for a 2010 High Times Doobie Award. The group was nominated in the "Best Hip-Hop" category alongside Cypress Hill's B-Real, Method Man & Redman, Asher Roth, and Kid Cudi. The Doobie Awards are presented in conjunction with High Times Magazine and celebrate the best in stoner culture. A full list of this year’s nominees is available online at http://hightimes.com/blog/bobbyblack/6136?utm_source=rss_home .
"Pass the doobie. It's always an honor to be recognized for your work and passion," commented Daddy X. "There are some nice stoney jams on our 'Hidden Stash' record, so it's great to hear people are feeling the album. We'd like to thank all the High Times staff and readers for all their continued love and support over the years."
The planets have aligned perfectly for the release of the Kottonmouth Kings’ new studio album, “Long Live The Kings”, which coincides with the counterculture pot-smoking holiday observed each April 20th. The album’s mind bending mixture of hip-hop, punk-rock, and melodic acoustics will surely be the soundtrack to countless bong rips throughout this year’s stoner holiday.
