Billboard chart-topping rapper DL is excited to release his new single, "Off Da Books", and its accompanied music video on Vevo via his record label Triplebeam Entertainment. The gritty and block-burning single is featured on the New York rap renegade's critically acclaimed movie, "King Of Paper Chasin", and its soundtrack.

"My single 'Off Da Books' was a song that basically wrote itself. It is a true depiction of my lifestyle, mentality and overall inner core. I felt a need to express how I was feeling at the time and I think when people hear it they will hear the sincerity in my voice," explained DL, known for his nationwide smash hit "Bossman".

Adding, "The title 'Off Da Books' comes from the concept of doing things in secret or undercover so to speak. It relates to the underworld of the streets in many ways because many things done in that environment is meant to stay secret."

"King Of Paper Chasin" (OST) is a look inside the life and mind of the Queens, NY rapper and is inspired by the semi-bio feature film with the same title. The musically-rich soundtrack is now available on iTunes and Amazon for your listening pleasure. The deluxe edition will hit stores in June 2013.
