Philadelphia, PA - In the latest pre-album visual, 5-time Grammy nominee Dice Raw introduces some of the artists featured on his forthcoming concept album entitled "JIMMY'S BACK" (album release date pushed to August 19, 2013 to correspond with a special online debut). Features on the project include top names such as Jill Scott, along with professed-former felons such as K-Dot and Roots associate Mars Co-op.

Dice Raw: "I grew up in Philadelphia - Philadelphia is not a soft city, you know what I mean? It has a criminal element to it, and poor sections. That's basically what it comes down to is low economic background, low education... the War on Drugs is a War on Thugs," says Dice Raw on the tragic state of affairs for Black men in his city alone.

Dice Raw's "JIMMY'S BACK"is inspired by the New York Times bestselling book, "The New Jim Crow: Mass Incarceration in the Age of Color Blindness" by Dr. Michelle Alexander.
