Audible Treats Artists Perform For Record Store Day 2010

In an age dominated more and more by the digital music marketplace, record stores across the country are inviting all music lovers out to show their support for physical music retailers as part of Record Store Day. The event will take place nationwide, this Saturday, April 17. Participating establishments will be featuring live performances, and many will offer exclusive deals or discounts.

For this event, Fat Beats NY, will be reducing all of their prices by 10 percent for the entire day, and hosting an in-store hip-hip showcase, featuring Black Milk of Fat Beats Records, and Tanya Morgan emcee Von Pea of Interdependent Media. Along with the discount offered by Fat Beats, Interdependent Media will have free 45's available for fans during their artists' appearances.

Von Pea will be performing at 4:00 PM, and Black Milk will be following him up with a live band performance at 6:00 PM, featuring Daru and AB. These two will be sharing the stage with Deejay Element, Soul Kahn (The Brown Bag Allstars), 88-Keys (Decon), Marco Polo, Ruste Juxx, Torae, Skyzoo, and many others.

Also showing support for Record Store Day, Illyas of Tanya Morgan will be performing at Everybody's Records in his hometown of Cincinnati, OH. Illyas will be hitting the stage at 2:30 PM.
