Intense Media Panel Peaks High Interest and Large Attendance At AME Conference

NEW ORLEANS, LA - Award winning producers, music executives, radio personalities, media experts and DJs gathered for the first ever All Star Music Experience during All Star weekend in New Orleans, Louisiana. Hip-Hop trailblazers Slick Rick, Trina, Bigga Rankin, DJ Demp and platinum producer Drumma Boy, were honored with Lifetime Achievement Awards during the 3-day event (Friday-Sunday), held in the Federal Ballroom inside The Security Center.

The kicked off with a star-studded DJ Panel featuring some of the nation’s hottest deejays including Bigga Rankin (Cool Running DJs), DJ Demp (Core DJs), DJ Stew, DJ L-Nice, Asiatic Black and DJ Big Ed. With performances by upcoming artists from all over the nation, plus DJ Demp and DJ Stew on the turntables throughout the day, the first day ended with a bang. Day 2 attracted an ever bigger audience with an All Star Music Executives panel starring Eric Parler (Island Def Jam), Vashon “Rap” Straws (Universal/Republic Records), Troy Marshall (Brand X Networks) and Echo Hattix (Echoing Soundz). Indie artists, producers, songwriters, and aspiring executives were able to ask firsthand questions about the music industry, and connect with experts on the spot.

The day continued with the All Star Media panel starring Amir Shaw (Rolling Out Magazine), Jamaal Bachelor (Hip Hop Weekly), Scott Randell (The Source Magazine/, David Dennis (Smoking Section/ and Aniesia Williams (Essence Magazine), Vlad ( moderated by Echo Hattix (Echoing Soundz). The impressive panel of experts kept it real with attendees, answering tough questions and challenging the audience to be business minded when it comes to their brand and image. Multi-Platinum producer Drumma Boy, Luney Tunez and “Chicken” held it down on the All Star Producers Panel, sharing their industry knowledge with aspiring producers in the audience.
