Wu-Tang Clan Premiere Pollen: The Swarm Part Three on AOL Music

The legendary Wu-Tang Clan is gearing up for the release of their brand new fifteen track album, Pollen: The Swarm Part Three, which hits stores next week, by streaming it in its entirety on AOL Music and AOL Spinner this week.  The record, which drops June 22nd  from Wu Music Group, is the third installment of the official swarm franchise and features original Wu-Tang Clan members RZA (Bobby Digital), Ghostface Killa, Method Man (Johnny Blaze) and many more.  Volumes I and II of The Swarm have sold over eight hundred thousand units to date.

The Wu camp issued an official letter last month announcing Pollen’s release, and offered a 30-second teaser of a never-before-heard track by the late, great O.D.B. titled “Dirts the Boogie,” which Dirt recorded with his son, Y.D.B. Boy Jones.  Check it out at the link below, along with two additional teaser clips for “Assed Out” by the Wu-Tang Clan and “M.E.F.” by Johnny Blaze.  In speaking about Pollen: The Swarm Part Three in their letter, Wu-Tang headquarters declared, “This album will effectively pollinate and enter your senses and is guaranteed to inspire and buzz the ears of any true Wu fan looking for that real WUTANG indulgence and experience without leaving out the this generation’s expressions of hip hop and those still to come.”  The RZA also chimed in that, “these tracks are ready to prove to Wutang fans that real Hip Hop is less about the bling and more about expression.”

As previously announced, Wu-Tang Clan will hit the road this summer to perform their notorious 1993 debut Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) live a the 7th annual rap tour Rock the Bells. Additional Wu dates throughout the summer will be announced soon.  The RZA is also scheduled to produce GZA’s Liquid Sword II due to be released by Wu Music Group at the end of the year.
