The first 15 seconds are like a rocket shooting into the air, then suddenly the beat is scratched in and the track EXPLODES with fireworks. Hayes follows in the footsteps of Timbaland and The Neptunes, embracing harmonious combinations of electronic noise and heavy bass, combining them with a speedy beat equally suited to the dancefloor or your next aerobic workout. Even though the Beastie Boys "DRRRRROP" sample in the hook may be predictable it's enjoyable BECAUSE it's exactly what you expect. To be perfectly honest the Twins could be spitting a Kool Keith rap about smearing feces on the wall and this song would still be hot. The lyrics are entirely subsumed by the beat and with the Twins that's usually for the best. Does anybody remember "Wait (The Whisper Song)" beyond the pounding beat and the chorus? "You gon' be just as drunk as us" is all they really have to say in this song because it's not meant for introspection - it's meant for the PARTY.
