La Coka Nostra's Slaine Completes Work on Feature Film

“The Town” Set To Hit Theaters Across The Country Sept 17th, 2010
Boston rapper Slaine, of the rap super group, La Coka Nostra, has completed his work on the feature film “THE TOWN” directed by Ben Affleck. The film is set for a September 17th, 2010 release in movie theaters across the country and will also feature Jon Hamm (Mad Men). Fans can view the trailer for "The Town" online at .
“Working on 'The Town' was really the experience of a lifetime. As he showed with ‘Gone Baby Gone’, Ben Affleck has the ability to accurately create Boston as a character in a multilayered and smart crime story,” commented Slaine. “I said it after our last film together, and I'll say it again, people are going to be talking about Affleck as a director down the road like we talk about Eastwood and Scorcese now. In the meantime, this is a can't miss movie. I got to see the final product recently, and it’s a movie I would see twice in theaters even if I wasn't in it.”
Slaine is currently recording his upcoming solo album, "A World With No Skies", which is expected to be released later this year on Suburban Noize Records. Slaine is currently streaming material online at .
