Stressmatic of The Federations Drops New Album on Aug. 24

After having a major hand in the creation and expansion of the Hyphy movement, Stressmatic from The Federation decided to take a different approach in his creative development. The end result of this new approach being Stress rebranding himself as 1st Place and preparing his new album, “House Shoes & Dickie Shorts” available August 24th.
Taking a new approach in his music, 1st Place includes rock elements into his tracks while still using his Bay Area swag on the mic. And the response has been nothing short of outstanding as his first three mixtapes have amassed nearly 50,000 downloads.
Poised to make a dent with the first single from “House Shoes & Dickie Shorts” the party anthem “Super Drunk” is already receiving spins [along
with multiple other 1st Place songs] on the radio program “Skratch N’ Sniff”. With “Skratch N’ Sniff being syndicated in nearly 50 affiliates throughout the US, “Super Drunk” proves to be potentially become a summer sleeper hit.
With additional cuts like “In A Band”, “On Tour” and “My Cadillac”, 1st Place’s gravitation toward the rock lifestyle proves nearly complete.
It’s no wonder Stress coined himself as 1st Place….where else would he end up?
