Cornish: Rob Kelly - First Irish MC on the BBC Rob Kelly was invited to the cult segment "Fire In The Booth" on the 1xtra Hip-Hop Mix Show presented by Charlie Sloth on BBC and he didn't disappoint as he went in for 9 Minutes over Alchemist's "Bangers" & Young Money's "Roger That" InstrumentalRob has been holding it down for his homeland for many years and has collaborated with everyone from Reef The Lost Cauze & Slaine to Memphis Bleek and Selah. Rob who previously made history by being the first Irish M.C ever to appear in XXL Magazine was delighted with the response to his performance "I used to sit in my room and listen to Westwood and dream of being on BBC when I was a teenager and record all the performances, I heard Biggie on the station and nearly broke the rewind button and I knew I'd get on there someday" Rob is embarking on a UK & European tour with long time collaborator and friend Memphis Bleek on his first solo tour without Jay-Z in the fall and is continuing work on his new album "Kell's Kitchen" which will feature a host of US and UK talent.
