From iHipHop Distribution:

LA's 16-Year Old Sensation LaVish "Hometown Hero" on 10/26/10

For Immediate Release
September 15, 2010

iHipHop Distribution & FrankRadio are proud to announce the upcoming release of LaVish’s “Hometown Hero." LaVish has made a name for himself on the LA scene as the best and brightest of the next generation of talent. At the young age of 16, he is a natural lyricist and has a smooth flow well beyond his years.  He is a regular on the LA live performance scene, and has shared the stage with Kendrick Lamar, Dom Kennedy, Skeme, Pac Div, Glasses Malone, LAUSD & many more.

He released his first mixtape "Good Enough," in January 2010, and his second mixtape "In My Lifetime" in April 2010 and early this summer he was spotted by iHipHop Distribution's A&R at a "Just Be Cool" event in Hollywood, and the rest is history.  Now, he's ready to take the next step in his career.  His album “Hometown Hero” is a spectacular debut. LaVish produced a quarter of the album on his own and wrote all 18 tracks. He also enlisted the help of established producers such as Don Cannon, Polyester (Dom Kennedy) and reached out to his friends Casey Veggies, BrandUn DeShay, Name, Kosher Kris & more for guest spots on this album. LaVish's buzz is heating up with a show in Miami on Saturday with Dom Kennedy & Pac Div, and a slot at CMJ coming up in October.

About Us
*iHipHop Distribution was founded in 2009 in an attempt to provide artists with a new paradigm for distributing not only their music, but their image, brand, content and everything imaginable.  The starting point was to rethink the music business with the premise that first and foremost, we are not a record label, but rather, distributors of culture.  As a result, in its inaugural year, iHipHop Distribution and its strategic partner FrankRadio were instrumental in catapulting Wiz Khalifa to his second major label deal with Atlantic Records. Our unique partnerships with companies such as Frank151 (FrankRadio), the iHipHop Media Network & more enable us to create awareness for our partners in a very cost-effective and rapid manner.  iHipHop Distribution has made it a point to focus on the youngest generation of hip-hop fans and artists.  The internet has made it possible for artists to express themselves at an extremely young age, and thus has created a void in the marketplace for a company such as iHipHop Distribution to support this talent.  As Fall and Winter approach, stay on the lookout for iHipHop Distribution to be bringing you the freshest music, talent and experience in the independent hip-hop world.
