Loose Logic Mixtape Loosid Dreams On Myspace Main Page!

Sept 30, 2010--Passion Play Productions is proud to announce the first collaboration between LA rapper Loose Logic and DJ rampage, a mixtape called Loosid Dreams. With 23 tracks of TK. LA emcee Loose Logic has been steadily building a fan base and honing his skills. On his first LP, Logistics, he seamlessly fuses hip-hop with R&B, techno and metal influences, maintaining an unparalleled standard of excellence on each of the 16-tracks. Logistics features Warner Brothers artist Jay Rock, G-Funk affiliate RBX, and gangsta rapper Ms. Toi, among others. Loose Logic delivers precise lyrics at a torrential pace over an infectious beat on “I-Rok” making this 2010’s first official party anthem.Asked what the album’s title means to him, Loose Logic says with a laugh, “I’m just providing good music to heads.”

Loose Logic was born Ian Westbrook in Dana Point, CA, where he had a pretty average life. Like many kids in California suburbs in he 80s, Logic was cutting school, skateboarding, and listening to Dr. Dre, Dj Quik, and Snoop Dogg.

“Eventually I discovered underground hip-hop,” he continues. “When I heard Slug and Sage Francis, I was like ‘holy shit!. Then I saw Tech N9NE at a Bone Thugs and Harmony concert and I was speechless.”

Leading up to Logistics, Loose Logic has been putting out EPs and mixtapes and killing rappers in battles left and right. His 2007 Before the Storm garnered attention from press. Logic won “Best Hip-Hop Artist of The Year” at the 2007 All Access Magazine Music Awards as well as “Best Urban (Rap) Artist of the Year” at the 2007 Orange County Music Awards. In addition, he graced the cover of Orange County’s What’s Up magazine, and has been featured in the Orange County Register, OC Weekly, Huntington Beach Gazette, Skinnie magazine. Loose Logic was named a “Top 100 Unsigned Artist” for 2007 by Music Connection magazine. Most recently he was featured on Vapors.com

Logic has performed onstage with national recording acts Mos Def, Too Short, DMX, Pitbull, KRS-1, DJ Quik, Ying-Yang Twins, Strong Arm Steady, and Evidence, as well as numerous others!
